Q: With revenue guidance released today missing expectations, would you still be comfortable with this? I noticed the stock was still a suggestion on another question this morning, but wasn't sure if that came before or after guidance was provided.

Q: Hi 5iResearch Team,
Just wondering what impact would the slow down in China's economy have on NVDA. Your thoughts on this and the company as whole going forward, would be much appreciated.
Cheers,

Q: I initiated a position in both of these companies (<2%) at the beginning of January and am down 7% on NVDA and up 15% in SQ. Both have been under considerable down pressure recently. Would you continue to hold or liquidate at until the dust settles.
Thanks Kindly.

Q: Based on recent Q4 revenue warning and analysts downgrades, Nvidia's stock price continues to drop. How do you feel about it's prospects going forward and if positive, would this be a good time to buy or should I wait out the negative sentiment?

Q: I've finally decided to look at investing in some US stocks. Would you be able to suggest a couple of US growth stocks that have some stability and growth potential over the next few years? Thanks.
- Meta Platforms Inc. (META)
- NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
- Bank of Nova Scotia (The) (BNS)
- Kinaxis Inc. (KXS)
- Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP)
- Spin Master Corp. Subordinate Voting Shares (TOY)
Q: Hi 5i! I'm a middle-aged subscriber that has picked up some of the 5i researched companies - most recently Kinaxis and BNS. I'm slightly overweight Kinaxis and Shopify since I see them as potential growth engines. KXS, TOY, NVDA, SHOP, FB, and BNS are all in my non-reg account. If I need cash this year for personal projects, which companies might you recommend I start selling? Thanks!
- Apple Inc. (AAPL)
- NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
- Boyd Group Income Fund (BYD.UN)
- Great Canadian Gaming Corporation (GC)
- Kinaxis Inc. (KXS)
- Magna International Inc. (MG)
- Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH)
- Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP)
- Savaria Corporation (SIS)
- Spin Master Corp. Subordinate Voting Shares (TOY)
Q: All the above is what I have in portfolio with equal weightings. I purchased all stocks 1 year ago. I am down on all except for SHOP and BYD. TOY is Down the most. Do you recommend to sell any of these stocks? What new stock would you recommend to add to a tfsa for growth?
Please deduct credit as you feel appropriate.
Thank you.

Q: Watching the new Planet Earth series on Netflix, I noticed the incredible footage being done with drones flying through the trees and between mountain crevices etc. Also, it seems they are somehow getting video cameras on the backs of birds. Crazy amazing footage. Is NVDA involved in this technology?
Q: Considering bitcoins' drop in value, does anyone have an idea of what percentage of nvdia's business is tied to Bitcoin mining? What other customer streams does Nvidia have and what percentages might they be? What has been nvidia's primary growth catalyst the last 3 years? Does nvidia's prospects continue to be bright going forward?
- Apple Inc. (AAPL)
- Illumina Inc. (ILMN)
- NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
- Block Inc. Class A (SQ)
- Just Eat Takeaway.com N.V. (GRUB)
Q: Can you please provide a list of 5 US stocks which have been unduly punished in the recent market turmoil and could be poised for a bounce back over time. Thx
Q: The tech meltdown has been spectacular. Companies that "own their world" are being trashed. Amazon, Alphabet, Facebook, Nvidia, Square, Salesforce, Microsoft and Box are my favorites. Would you enter this sector now or just move on? Please comment/rank on my tech watchlist. Thank you.
Q: Happy Holidays,
Looking for some TFSA investments ideas. Could you suggest 3 names CDN or U.S. that you think have a chance to hit it out of the park over the next 10-15 years?

Q: I have some US funds I'd like to put to work in one or two of the mentioned names taking them from a half weight to a full 5% position. Regardless of sector weightings, which 2 do you like the most at current market valuations for capital appreciation over the next 5 to 8 years in a growth oriented portfolio? Thanks!

Q: Internal Damage?
When companies go through a major drop from their 52 week high (TSGI -60%, SIS -41%, GRUB-51%, NVDA-53%, KXS-35%) What kind of internal damage is created? I'm thinking employee moral, to stock options, to the ability to finance future growth? Other items? It's very tempting to continue to average down (although my dry powder is getting low) but when a company loses 40%-50% of it's value is it the same company anymore? Or is buying something like a Microsoft (down only 11%) a more prudent investment? (i.e. it hasn't breached a point of internal damage)
My holding period is very long, but I'm wondering if the current steep discounts currently are somewhat false illusions...

Q: Hi Folks
Looking to add some companies with the following qualities to my portfolio. 1) in a fast growing non-cyclical industry 2) must be the best company or companies in it and 3) excellent management today and hopefully, in the future - can you provide some names that you feel meet the three criteria.
thanks for a great service

Q: Would you recommend taking a position in NVDA at this time?
- Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN)
- NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)
- JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM)
- Visa Inc. (V)
- Block Inc. Class A (SQ)
- INVESCO QQQ Trust (QQQ)
- Spotify Technology S.A. (SPOT)
- Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Technology ETF (RYT)
Q: I am trying to consolidate my U.S. TFSA into ETF's. On the tech side I own AMZN( nice profit) NVDA ( down 38%) and SPOT (down 4%) I am thinking of selling them and buying QQQ ETF instead.
On the financial side I own JPM (down 2.7%) V (down 1%) and SQ (down 6%) Thinking of selling these and buying DGRO ETF.
Your thoughts on this? Also if there are other ETF's that you think would be better for tech and financials, please let me know. Please deduct two credits if you deem it necessary.
Thanks for your great advice,
Jen

Q: Crypto mining has driven NVDA's stock price for some years now, but its currencies' decline will surely take a heavy toll on GPU sales into that market. Yes, AI and autonomous vehicle applications could expand, and consumers will continue to play video games, but are these enough to create actual earnings growth, or is NVDA more likely to tread water for a few years?
