Q: Hi Team,
I am planning on making a 2021 rsp contribution and looking for your top 3 US growth picks today. ( I was leaning towards PINS). That being said, do you think now is a good time to do this into the tech weakness? I may contribute in 2 different contributions at different times. Or do you foresee this pullback lasting quite a bit longer yet? I realize timing the market is just a guess, but you did a good job in predicting the low last year when your write up suggested we start buying after the huge virus sell off. Thanks for that!

Q: When do you think we are going to see the market sell off settle down in some of these names? Is this panic selling by retail investors or a more troubling move by smart money out of these names entirely? I'm just finding it hard to imagine that the prospects for these companies changed as dramatically as the share price in recent weeks. Take NVDA for instance. I thought it was everyone's darling a few weeks ago when I bought it over $100 higher. I'm holding but it's hard watching these things fall so dramatically each day without reprieve it seems. Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i team
I would like to thank you for all your sound advice since inception. I would need to trim up to 5 stocks from this portfolio. If you were in that position, which ones would you cut starting with first to cut up to fifth. These stocks are in a rrsp with equal percentages. Thanks. Gilles

Q: Hi 5i team,
My nephew turned 18 last year and has now 11K in his TFSA ready to invest.
What would be your suggestion (s). It can be a mix of CDN and USD stocks/ETFs.
Obviously, it would be several years before needing any of the money so some risk can be taken.
Thanks

Q: Just wondering if you think the recent pullback was overdone on some of your favourite companies making them much better buys today than they were before. If so, I would appreciate it if you could suggest 3 Canadian and 3 American companies that now have more upside.

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I have no US stocks in my TFSA, RSP or Margin Accounts. I was thinking of adding some but not sure in which account it is best for them, or if it matters. How would they affect each one and do you have 1 or 2 suggestions for long term hold for each of them based on where it is better to hold them. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter,

I had asked a couple of questions the other day but got a reply to just one of them so I will ask again.
For the US, I own two ETFs; ZSP (8%) and FTEC (8%). I have USD to add another 20% to the US part of my portfolio and would like 7-8 names to add on the current market weakness/rotation. I would appreciate if you could recommend a few stocks for growth 5-10 years at least, don't need dividends, medium to high risk. These names would be in my RRSP and margin account and buyable at current prices.
Thanks in advance.

Q: Markets are really backing off with Nasdaq down over 500 points Thursday afternoon. Looks like a good correction. Can you list your top 10 stocks (1 to 10) you would buy that seem to be set up for big rebounds.

Q: Hi 5i,
I know you guys are long term investors and don’t like trading around earnings, but it seems to me that most tech stocks are priced to perfection these days and they can have great earnings calls and yet the stock sells off. Recent examples are NVDA, ROKU, TTD, SQ and SHOP (although SHOP announced a financing as well). For new positions, aren’t the odds in your favour to wait until after earnings to buy? Similarly, if one is overweight on a position, again it seems to me that the odds are in your favour to trim back prior to earnings. What are your thoughts on this approach?
Thanks again.

Q: Hi!

What names in large cap tech in the U.S. do you think is attractively valued right now? I'm looking at MSFT and GOOGL right now.

Q: Unity software was recommended earlier this year as one of your top US growth stocks. It is now down over 40% from it’s high. I’ve been watching but never bought. Would you still rate this as one of your top US growth stocks. And with the recent pull back what would be your top US growth stocks currently.
I’m a long term member and thank you for getting me into numerous growth stocks since 2014 which I would never have bought and which provided handsome returns. So many thanks for being there for us little guys.
