Q: I understand that XL K will be rebalancing on Friday after market closing. Currently Nvidia has a 6 to 7% weighting in the XL K. This will increase with the rebalancing given the large increase in Nvidia’s value.
will this necessarily mean that the XLK will open at a significantly higher price next week. And would that justify adding to XLK now. Thank you.

Q: Good morning,

BEP,UN is classified as energy in portfolio analytics, should it not be under utilities?

Thanks for the unique service you provide followed your suggestion on NVDA after 2 splits my cost base is 3.80$ only problem is the taxman with clawback at 91 000 already reached and at 107 000 combined rates plus clawback in quebec is 65 % ????
I put all the money, work, risks for one third of profit!!
I see no way around this do you have any suggestion or resources to address this.
I won't ventilate to much as my language would not be proper.

Q: Hi 5i!
Piggy backing off one of my last questions on building a solid portfolio from scratch through diversification et al(THANK YOU!). Knowing you can’t get personal; looking for some mid to long term hold recommendations (either US or CA) in the following sectors with growth upside in mind as I have significant cash (250K+) sitting in my RRSP doing nothing. I am currently quite top heavy in Tech – and own the above in registered and non-registered accounts.

If you have several recos for a sector, can you please rank in order of preference. Additionally, if there is a sector that can be put to the side with the idea of prioritizing others, I would be keen to know. Also open to add ETF's to represent a sector. As always, thanks a million. I love your service.

Q: Hi Team,
I had to trim some Nvda today to manage weighting size in my portfolio. What are some of your best idea “forever holds” today that are standing out as strong buys at current levels ? Either cnd or US. Or is it recommended to hold some cash for a while if it looks like the market is due for a pullback??

Thanks,
Shane

Q: The Wall Street Journal today posted an article about Nvda's New Sales Booster: The Global Push for National AI Champions. In it it referenced Canada. " Other big projects are taking place in Canada, which last month pledged $1.5 billion as part of a sovereign computing strategy for the country’s startups and researchers," . Which Canadian companies do you feel may be the possible benefactors from this investment?

I could have an extra $5,000 available if I sold my DDOG. Is it a hold or sell ? Thanks for your help !
