Q: I have CCP corporation and would appreciate your recommendations for buy and forget stocks (moderate risk; 10-year hold). With such high dividend taxes in the CCPC, I would prefer stocks that pay a lower dividend or no dividend. Could you please recommend the 10 CAN and 5 US stock you would buy today, if you were starting this account?

Q: I'm in the process of rebuilding my portfolio for 2022. It would be helpful if you could share with me a list of both Canadian and American companies that meet the following criteria:
1. They are some of your favourite companies from a fundamental perspective
2. They are currently buying back their own shares.
3. They offer a decent dividend.
4. They run businesses that offer good growth prospects for next year.
5. They currently offer good value.
6. These companies are so solid they would classify as 'core ' holdings.
At least six companies in each list would be appreciated.

Based on their current market valuation, balance sheets, and future revenue growth, which is the current preferred choice and why. Or is there another better choice? What’s the suggested entry price? Q: This is about topping up a half position in ISRG. Yea would like to do it but the market price rose somewhat like a hockey stick. With that, I'm reluctant to buy ISRG at this point. Seems to me, the market price is way ahead of the fair value and so I'll park the desire to buy ISRG. Keen to get your take on my "viewpoint". But if you consider ISRG a buy, what would be your entry point at this time?.....Thanks....Tom

P.S. While Bombers are at the top of the CFL, me, cheering for Ti-Cats ......but not wagering, rather saving my coins for one day topping up ISRG.......hahahaha

Q: Looking forward to 2022 I think there is a recession coming at us. (Personal Opinion). Looks to me that growth companies are going to continue to face severe headwinds. I also think industrials, financials, energy, and health care will be the sectors that will start to outperform others. Of course I'm open to debate regarding my choices and welcome your opinions. However, I would appreciate 3 or 4 examples of companies that you believe are set up to outperform in these sectors. If I've missed any sector please feel free to add your ideas. Q: If the scary inflation monster is in fact a mirage and we return next year to the old norm of global oversupply, excess savings, and stagnant growth what would be some Canadian and US stocks likely to benefit.

Q: Management always seems to be one of the keys to the success of any company. Could you provide a list of companies that you consider to have top-notch management - any sector, any market cap but leaning towards small to mid cap, Canadian and U.S. I'm not going to put a number limit on this - just whatever you feel comfortable in providing, realizing that there may be too many to list for this type of question. I am going to add TIH and would like one more industrial maybe two healthcare names. just alittle concerned that alot of these names have benefited from covid except for stryker but i think it has run up on anticipation of more surgeries coming back
