Q: Good Morning, I recently read in the FP that the new CEO of Intel Pat Gelsinger declared that "Intel is back" - Do you think that he can turn things around to participate in the huge demand for chips, and is this the time to invest?
I also know that you are not a huge fan of SPACS, however I am intrigued about investing along side in Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Tontine - thoughts?
With thanks JS

Q: Is DRIV an effective way to gain exposure to the electric vehicle sector? I’m looking for a long term hold in that category. Thanks

Q: There is a lot of talk about a shift to value stocks. What is and how do I identify a value stock and can you give some examples of current opportunities in your portfolios and generally please?

Q: Hello 5i team. I wanted to get your opinion regarding these companies. With investment in Rivian by Ford, GM's EV product and new cars, they both seem like good value opportunities with upside. Can you compare the two from a valuation perspective, and give your opinion?

Also, I read that Intel has best in class driverless car tech. Their legacy business is a drag on their PE. What are your thoughts on Intel and would you be a buyer?

Q: Intc has been doing very badly of late, with Apple and Microsoft designing their own chip. I am thinking of selling Intc and replacing it with 2 or 3 technology companies, not necessarily in the chip sector. Intc is 2% of my portfolio. What would be your picks. Thanks

Q: I am thinking of buying Intel for my grandchildren's account. Do you see any potential for growth in the near future? Please provide recommendations that you see have a good entry price at this time. As well would this be a good time to buy US funds? Thank you.

Q: Hello, I have been holding Intel for more than 5 years now. According to what I read in the Q&A I believe the time has come to sell it and buy something else. Would that make sense to buy Roku to replace Intel? Another option would be either NVDA or QCOM? What would you do? Thank you, Gervais

Q: Hi, these are the companies that have not performed well since I bought them. Which of these do you think it is worth to keep in my portfolio considering that I aim to make >= 10% a year (including dividends) and it is for the long term (+20y) ? I think to replace HD by COST, INTC by NVDA or AMD, is it a good move in your opinion ? Thank you !

Q: So if one agrees that a significant US tech exposure in a portfolio seems correct but the Big 5 US mega-techs and their valuations seem scary at the moment, given the recent correction of a stock like Intel, would you recommend that this investor with a 2 to 3 year horizon buy Intel at this level, watch it for a while and see how it settles in, start a partial position, consider other tech companies (such as what?) or continue to build positioning in the Big 5 and not focus on their valuations??? And perhaps a comment from you regarding what you would advise this concerned investor from a safety perspective regarding some of your favourite tech growers that have even higher valuations (Docusign, TTD, Team, etc.) - what is your recomendation and opinion in the context of this question comparing adding to those growthy tech names versus an Intel or a Cisco type tech purchase. I guess in essence I want to know whether you think the extra risk at this time is warranted over that term. Thank you for your anticipated helpful response - Ken

Q: KXS: FPE 113x, SHOP FPE 3490x: MS MV of $133.00 & $477.00 respectively. These prices make no sense to me. Of course, I wish I had bought SHOP not that long ago for $500.00+ per share; but, now both look crazy out of touch with any semblance of fundamental analysis to me. Both would need a super large correction IMHO. I own no Cdn. Tech. - just USD ETF IGM which is almost back to high prior to CV19. Any suggestions for buys on TSX - not interested in speculative stocks. I am looking for some growth as I own mostly large cap "dividend growers" in my portfolios.
