Q: Hello Peter, here's a twist on one of your readers' favourite questions.

What three Canadian stocks and three US stocks have your highest confidence level that they will be higher in two years than they are today, regardless of the size of the return. (I suppose this question combines your confidence in the companies' management, industry and macro factors, etc. but also with a view to preservation of capital.)

Q: Hi,

I would like to trim down my tech holdings in my portfolio. How would you rank these overall in terms of long term growth considering valuation, size, risk, etc... I would like to reduce the holdings, add to TOI and balance out other sectors that are low such as energy and materials. Do you see any overlap in these holdings? Q: Hello, given the current US$ exchange rate and the loses still incurred on a handful of CDN stocks, I'd like to hear your thoughts on selling the decent dividend but significant double digit % loses to acquire more US$ and move it into GOOG & FB. Alternatively I have considered adding to VFV or starting a position in VGRO and leave it as CDN$. I am ~25% in USD of which I plan to use so I am not concerned with adding a few more points of USD. Thank you for your opinion.

Q: Good morning 5i,

Out of Topicus, goeasy or BRP inc, if you had to pick one... which stock would you “top up” hoping for the best one year gain?

Roku... your thoughts as it is down from 480 to 300. It had some huge gains and even at 300 it’s a big winner but it’s a big drop and I feel it’s overall trajectory as a company has only gotten stronger with recent acquisitions plus the overall move to streaming for consumers and companies alike, plus advertising potential growth etc. Thoughts on topping it up for 5 year growth I don’t see many better opportunities especially for potential for a quick turnaround within 1 year. (earnings tomorrow should be interesting in this market).

Q: Hi! I am using the Balanced Equity portfolio however as a complete portfolio it falls short in that there are no Us/Global stocks. There are area s the Canadian market doesn’t represent well. Q: I own the following tech positions. I am at retirement age and don't anticipate a larger investment except by gains.
SHOP ~ 2.5%
LSPD ~3.5 %
KXS ~ 3 %
I have done very well with all of these and have sold down a good portion of shop for excellent gains. (Thank you.)
From my view of questions would switching SHOP to CRWD give a better balance or would you recommend a different mix.?
