Q: Hi,
The portfolio Analytics suggests that I hold 8% in communication. Currently I only have 2%, all in Telus. Could you please suggest 2-3 names in the sector, both in U.S. and international? thanks.

Q: Good morning I have initiated a part of my portfolio to u.s. stocks and I have GOOG, BABA, AVGO, GE, FDX and am looking at SYK ACN AND MCO also I have positions in VGT and VTI. On the income side I hold good Canadian dividend companies that combined with CPP/OAS the dividends cover all of our living and travelling expenses. So, I diverted most of the growth stocks from your balanced fund into this u.s. side. My question is I still have about 20% cash can you recommend additional u.s. companies that I could look at along with the above. Or, should I just put the cash into the two ETFs. Thank you for the great service as you have changed how I invest and look at my own portfolio and time frame....thanks...gene

Q: Hello, here are questions related to a Non-Registed portfolio only. Please deduct credits as required.
1) How are capital gains on US stocks taxed?
2) I want to buy Google. Should I use the GOOGL symbol or the GOOG symbol? Does that make any difference in the context of a Non-Registed portfolio?
3) What are the advantage(s) of having a covered call ETF such as ZWU in a diversified portfolio? Regards, Gervais

Q: Hi team, I have these companies in my TSFA. Can you rank these stocks based on highest potential gains (catalysts) in the next 12-24 months? They are equal weight and I will need to liquidate 50% of them within the next year or so. I know short term predictions are difficult but best guestimates are appreciated

Q: Google is a frustrating stock, although I think it is under-rated and continue to have faith in it. But just when it reaches a new high, it pulls back again. Slow and steady seems to be the name of the game with this one. This sell-off seems overdone to me. The miss mostly due to the fine so why would anyone sell? Your thoughts on earnings?

Q: 5i,
Question: Which of these three companies are preferred going forward for 2019? Should we hold all?
5I RESEARCH ANSWER:
We think GOOG looks best here, though we will give credit to MSFT for adjusting well to technology changes (the cloud).
FB we think will be a longer recovery, and we don't think is a must-own. We would be fine holding the other two.
DO you still feel the same ?
Thanks

Q: What are you're thoughts on WBA's earnings. Given the recent selloff would you still hold it for the long term or sell. I do not mind volatility. If it is a sell what US stock would you replace it with for growth. Thanks Chris
