Q: Hi team, I’ve listed my top holdings each representing approx 4- 5% of my total holdings (RRSP). Looking for your top 5 conviction stocks regardless of industry, sector, size, exchange etc. For a 5 year hold. For each suggestion please include the max weighting you would consider reasonable.

As always, thanks for the insights and keeping us grounded in fact.

Q: Hi Peter and Team
With the expectation that both the Canadian and US markets should do well for the next two years, can you suggest 5 CDN and 5 US stocks to consider for long term purchase in reasonably well balanced registered portfolios (RRIF and TFSA) that now have significant (>15%) cash positions. Thanks for the ongoing support.

Q: Hi 5i team
I would like to thank you for all your sound advice since inception. I would need to trim up to 5 stocks from this portfolio. If you were in that position, which ones would you cut starting with first to cut up to fifth. These stocks are in a rrsp with equal percentages. Thanks. Gilles

Q: In Peter's editorial in the February Moneysaver, he re-iterated the importance of diversification across the 11 main sectors. I found I am short in 3: tech, healthcare and communications. I am on the verge of retirement and have an income slant but realize some growth is also needed throughout my investing lifetime. Could you give me one growth and one income recommendation for each of those 3 sectors? (A company which pays a small dividend but has a history of raising it consistently would be ideal in the growth recommendation.)

Thanks,
SCOTT

Q: Hi 5i,
In reviewing my asset allocations, I am underweight in US and International. I am also light on Healthcare, Industrials, and Technology. Are there any companies (top 5) that jump out at you as growth based names that could help with this in terms of a 'two-birds-one-stone' approach?
I have a 10+ year timeline and a high risk tolerance.
Thanks in advance!

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I have no US stocks in my TFSA, RSP or Margin Accounts. I was thinking of adding some but not sure in which account it is best for them, or if it matters. How would they affect each one and do you have 1 or 2 suggestions for long term hold for each of them based on where it is better to hold them. Thanks
