Q: Hello 5i
With an eye to high grading my portfolio I'd like to sell smaller riskier holdings to add to NVDA ROKU and PINS.
In what order would you sell the following in order to accomplish this goal: FSLY PLTR AYX CRNC AVLR
Thank you so much for your guidance!!

Q: Hi! I am using the Balanced Equity portfolio however as a complete portfolio it falls short in that there are no Us/Global stocks. There are area s the Canadian market doesn’t represent well. If you were to complement the Balanced Equity portfolio with 6-8 US/Global names, what stocks would complete the portfolio?

Q: I own the following tech positions. I am at retirement age and don't anticipate a larger investment except by gains.
SHOP ~ 2.5%
LSPD ~3.5 %
KXS ~ 3 %
I have done very well with all of these and have sold down a good portion of shop for excellent gains. (Thank you.)
From my view of questions would switching SHOP to CRWD give a better balance or would you recommend a different mix.?
I thank you in advance.

Q: Hello,

I sold my shares in Alphabet a few months back (which I now regret!) and have some U.S. cash sitting in my RRSP account. I have purchased SBUX and MSFT but want to add some U.S. holdings. I am near retirement, however have a DB pension plan so I can tolerate average to above average risk. I would appreciate your suggestions.

Thank you!

Q: I have held CVS for approx. 6 months and virtually it is flat. There have been many recommendations from the street however I have 22,000.00 which seems to be dead money. Should I sell and buy some tech stock like Oracle or Taiwan semiconductor. Do you have a suggestion other than these 2?
Cheers, Doug

Q: Hello, Can you please list in order which one of these Titans would you recommend for a 10 year hold within a TFSA. Or, should all three be held, currently in my US TFSA I only hold COST. I have other investments like ETFs and stocks in my CDN TFSA for diversity.

Thanks,
Robbie

Q: Current market volatility has me seeking companies that have 'wide moats' making them somewhat less susceptible to market noise. I would appreciate it if you would suggest the names of some American companies that you would consider to be 'wide moat' types of companies. If there are some that currently provide value this would be a bonus.

Q: I listened recently to a discussion involving Cathy Wood and the principal of the Van Eck fund. Cathy Wood said that she thinks possibly fifty per cent of the s and p 500 could be negatively affected because they failed to invest in innovation. A bit scary when you own rsp or voo. On the same interview was van Eck, who seemed to agree with her. And partially for this reason they have developed MOAT. He seems to think that with these companies he circumvents the problem. Perhaps this is my reading into his comments. Wondering whether you might think it would be worthwhile to trade out of rsp and voo and into most
Thanks as always

Q: Morning 5i:
I am looking to grow 200 k in a new LIRA of mine over the next 5 years before I flip to a dividend income model. What CDN and US growth equities would be your current favourites. I have a healthy risk appetite.
Thanks in advance, Greg.

Q: We have one 2 year old grandchild, and one on the way. I want to set up a small $1000 investment account for each of them, and add to it each year on their birthday. Because of the small initial amount, I plan to cover the trade commissions. Who knows if it will work, but the object is over 20 years, to show them how buying a good company, with a solid, growing dividend, and adding funds regularly, will reap long term benefits. They will be able to follow the first $1000, and hopefully at least cause them to have some thoughts/questions about investing.
Realizing potential risk/reward, I am looking for stock ideas for low and medium, risk.
Can you recommend 3 companies that you would recommend in each risk level, for this type of idea,

I will probably add trading companies along the way, but I do want one low risk, and one medium risk, long term hold, to start.
Thank you.
Grant
