Q: I Have held Knight Therapeutics (GUD.TO) in my Granddaughter's trust account for a number of years, but sold today with the jump in price for a small profit. I'M am now looking for a stock in the Health Care sector to replace it, preferably one that pays a dividend.
Would you be comfortable with Savaria (SIS.TO) for a 3-4 year hold? Could you recommend one or two others? Many thanks

Q: Hello. Can you point me in the direction of a few solid health sector, dividend paying stock options that would be suitable to hold within an RRSP? I’m looking at a five to eight year horizon and consider myself as a ‘low to moderate’ risk investor.
PS found recent ‘ How to Pick a Stock in 2018’ very helpful. Thanks!

Q: Gentlemen,
I own RHT (now 0.55%, -19%) on margin account.
I own COV (1%, +50%) GUD (1%, -8%), and 2 US ETF, IBB 1%, XBI 1%, on others none margin accounts.
I have cash (1.5%) to add to the HC sector.
Selling RHT, I will have 2% cash to buy.
I want to buy one US growth stock on H.C space.
Which one you suggest today.
Thanks
Best Regards

Q: I have set 8% sector target and have invested 50% - GUD 15% of total target, TD Health Sciences 11%, and 9% each to ISRG, ILMN, and COV.
If I drop TD Fund, then 60% available to reinvest - what names and allocations do you advise?
Thx for your excellent advice,
Sam

Q: It seems to me that when 5i members seek guidance regarding possible investments in American healthcare companies, Pfizer seems to be a common recommendation by your team. If I'm correct that you consider it to be a good investment at this time, what exactly are the reasons you believe this to be the case. If I'm wrong, what other American Companies do you favour currently. I'm willing to accept some risk but I'm really looking for a company that can balance off some of the Canadian small caps that I have in my portfolio that I'm purchased with your guidance. i.e. Knight, Covalon and Reliq. Again, thank-you for your invaluable guidance.

Q: There are not many Canadian stocks in the healthcare sector. Telus is now in the Electronic Health Records business, and Loblaws now owns Shoppers Drug Mart. Would you consider L and T to be partially healthcare?

Do you have any stock suggestions for healthcare in Canada? If not, could you recommend US or European stocks that would be advisable?

Thank you,

Fed

Q: Hi 5i,

I own all the above in the healthcare sector. After reading many comments on JNJ, I am getting a bit concerned. Would you continue to hold on or would you replace it with something else in the same sector? It is inside an RSP so no tax for selling and it is a long term hold as I do t need the money for over a decade.

TIA!

Q: Recently, 5i has supported members' suggestions to switch out of JNJ into something else given the legal difficulties that JNJ faces. I generally like to hold indefinitely; given this anticipated time frame, and my preference for safety and a good/growing dividend, do you think I should switch as well? Do you view the alternatives I've listed as less or more risky than JNJ overall? Are there non-pharmaceutical alternatives in the US healthcare space that would provide an equally secure and growing dividend that you would recommend? Thank you.

Q: Good morning Peter n your wonderful team,
I sold my J&J shares recently due to the outstanding lawsuits against the company, I think of replacing it with Pfizer. What is your opinion on future of Pfizer’s earnings, growth n dividends, cash flow, pipelines of drugs, balance sheet etc. Or can you please suggest one or two drug companies that will provide some growth plus dividend income?

Thank again for your insight! Asked by Rossana.

Q: Good Morning,

I'm looking to add a few more US stocks to my portfolio. I'm adequately represented in tech and financial sectors. Could you give me 4 or 5 names in other sectors where above average growth might be expected.

Thanks for your help,

Dennis

Q: Good Afternoon,
I don't follow the US market that closely, I'm looking for a handful of safer blue chip dividend payers ? Such as AT&T , perhaps you can list a few other names in various sectors you feel are well managed companies with good yield.
Thank-you
