Q: Can you please comment on E*TRADE's latest quarterly results. The company continues to beat analyst targets. It is my only US financial exposure (save for Blackstone). Buy more, hold , or sell? Thanks

Q: Any news or reasoning behind ETFC's 5% gain today (at the time of this writing)? Maybe an analyst upgrade? There doesn't seem to be any news from what I can see and the markets and financial sector is more or less flat. Thanks
- CME Group Inc. (CME)
- E*TRADE Financial Corporation (ETFC)
- Charles Schwab Corporation (The) (SCHW)
- AMTD IDEA Group American Depositary Shares each representing six (6) Class A (AMTD)
Q: I want to buy a half position in a US financial investment services company for a US dollar registered account. Please rank the following for potential capital gain with medium risk accepted. CME,IBKR,AMTD,SCHW,ETFC.
Please explain your rational.
Thanks, Tim.

Q: What do you think of this company for US financial exposure and a play on rising rates? Is the valuation / growth outlook compelling? Thanks
- E*TRADE Financial Corporation (ETFC)
- Bank of America Corporation (BAC)
- JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM)
- Wells Fargo & Company (WFC)
Q: Hello
I have been holding on to Wells Fargo for the last few years and unfortunately have missed the run up with the other US banks. Its currently in my TFSA, I've been considering selling and purchasing BAC or JPM. Which one would you recommend, is there still some upside? Etrade Financial (although more online trading platform) is another option, what are your thoughts?
Thanks!

Q: I am looking for investments which will respond positively to rising interest rates. I suspect CPD has anticipated a rise and I am told E*Trade will substantially benefit from rising rates - why? what are E*Trade prospects and for that sector in the current environment? Can you recommend an ETF for the US regional banks and do you think they will outperform? Thanks for your consideration
