Q: So it looks like these data centres for AI are going to use more electric energy than the US has in the near future, the facts are in. So for $50,000 what 5 companies do you invest in for the next 10 years?
Thanks Again

Q: Hi 5I. I hold VRT and am quite happy to do so. The names I have listed may also have big potential in the AI / Data Center explosion. Could you comment on the worthiness of an investment in any of them, please?

Q: If the world is going to need all this power to deal with all this Artificial Intelligence that is going to be happening in the coming years, what stocks in your opinion will benefit from this need for electrification? BTW I tend to like stocks that are on the more liquid side so please push your answer in that direction please and thanks

Q: Good morning,

I recently asked a question about Equinix - thank you for your response. I also own Pure Storage, which is in a different sector from Equinix but seems related in that they both offer data storage - at least, that is how it seems to a non-techie like myself. Do you think these two are different enough to own both? My portfolio has too many small positions so I'm looking to concentrate and am wondering of one of these could be sold. Would you hold both? If you were to sell one, which would you choose?

Thank you,

Q: Good day,

Can I please have your updated analysis of Equinix? I have read all past questions on this stock dating back to 2016. Many of your responses mentioned high debt levels, low inside ownership and high valuation. Are these still factors? I have a small position but am trying to decide whether to add to make it a more meaningful position.

Thank you,

Q: Is it a good time to start buying REITS or should I wait until 1/2 way through next year when we know more about this recession that everyone is predicting?

Can you recommend 1 or 2 CDN and 1 or 2 US for a long term hold?

Q: I want to add funds to my real estate holdings, as well as refine it for maximum sector diversification.

My current holdings are DIR.UN, EQIX, DLR, CAR.UN, GRT.UN

On my watchlist for this sector are TCN and CCI

Can I get your opinion on:

1) Are there any redundancies in my current holdings and if so, what could be sold?

2) Could you rank my current holdings for which to add to - first to last?

3) For proper sector diversification, would TCN and/or CCI be good additions? Or is there another real estate name you would suggest?

Thank you as always for your sage advice!

Doris

Q: Hi,
Can you tell me what type of account is generally best to hold US REITs, from a tax perspective?
I hold these 4 Canadian REITs (TCN, WIR.U, DIR.UN, SMU.UN) and am interested in several US REITS. I've been considering AMT, CCI, EQIX, DLR. Can you comment on these and suggest a few others.

Q: I have some USD within my business account from US client payments. Rather than holding as cash at the current exchange rate, I'm thinking of investing it into something that would produce some yield. It's within my Canadian Corporation, not sure the implications around US Dividends within a Corp?

I see more upside in the individual tickers mentioned, but buying the index is an easier means of setting and forgetting. Any insight or other names that would be of interest? I'd say I'm less open to significant risk with this capital coming from the Corp.

Q: These companies have been drifting off their highs and am wondering if there is a particular reason for this; wondering if this is a good time to buy, or hold, and which you think have the best value and potential? Thanks!
