Can you provide a few names in US and Canada which you consider good value plays? Also, costco despite its PE being high continues to surge higher. Do you think it is worth keeping or sell some? Q: Hello,
I have owned stpl for years as a sector based diversification strategy but feel it has had disappointing returns, even for that sector noting that there are some great breakout picks in the staples sector.
Could you please advise if you think it is a reasonable choice for the staples sector versus specific picks?
I realize that you typically recommend dol as well as wmt, cost and pg. just wondering what you think are good long term picks at this time given significant movement in these in the last couple of years.

Q: want to raise some cash(tech breaking down technically) in what order would you sell the above listed stocks bearing some are winners and some are losers so what your recommendation sell winners or losers first without getting in to too much specifics. CSU as an example sell now to claim loss or then buy back after 30 days FFH on the other hand is up 60% so sell now and hope to buy back later at lower price. what would you do? Q: For more defensive US stocks (I.e. non tech) how would you rank the long term performance of the following CL, Cost, HD, MCD, SYK and URI. I have all of these, but I am not happy with the performance of CL nor MCD and I am thinking of selling them and upping my positions in the others. I am not worried about being concentrated in too few stocks, as I have the opposite problem.
