Q: In you opinion, is there a chance of any recovery (i.e. avoiding bankrupcy) here? Thanks

Q: Hi, you mention short interest from time to time. Using MTTR as an example, you say that short interest is very high at 15%. I assume this is a negative as there are a lot of shorts (or shares short) that want to drive the price down. However, some view this as a positive as any good news can force all the shorts to cover. There are also different views on days to cover. MTTR shows 6 days. Some view higher numbers, such as 10, as positive as it means there could be a sustained rally if the shorts have to spread out their buying over a longer period rather than a quick spike.

What short interest levels and number of days to cover do you view as being positive or negative influences on a stock price?

Q: I have assembled a few names from the US exchanges that have had a tough few months and are likely experiencing some year end portfolio adjustments, ie, Tax Loss Selling. From the names I have here, can you identify two that you feel will have a better 2022, also curious if you might have an additional name for consideration. Q: It seems the market always looks forward and as such there must be companies that are moving to the upside now based on what the economies of the world will look like six months from now. Please provide me with the names of 5 Canadian companies and 5 American companies that you believe should do well in this new world. (Hopefully, post Covid World). I realize I'm asking for an educated guess, but since you have far more experience than I do, I would appreciate your opinion.

Q: In my opinion the U.S. China trade relations will soon improve. One reason being Trump does not want to go into an election without the economy firing on all cylinders. Can you suggest a stock that will benefit from the easing of trade barriers.

Q: The last time you commented on Bed Bath Beyond was 6 months ago priced at $17. Now it is $10. Inventory is 40% of assets when looking at the 0.5x BV. Does it look at all interesting to you? Thanks

Q: Hello, What do you think of BBBY? Although it has had a recent significant rise, I believe that it still trades below book value and the company is aggressively buying back stock. . It seems to be transitioning from brick to online and is still profitable albeit with decreasing metrics. Could you also tell me what was the short position last October and what it is nowadays. Do you know when they report next? Merci.

Q: The Retail stocks in the US have taken a large hit lately. If the story on a gradually improving US economy hasn't changed I am wondering if you think the sector has some value at the moment. In particular your thoughts on Bed Bath and Beyond (BBBY),and Ross Stores (ROST), would be appreciated.
