Q: Is there a Canadian listed etf that invests in U.S. equities but does not have heavy weighting towards the tech stocks like facebook, Microsoft, etc? Any recommendations?
- Vanguard S&P 500 Index ETF (VFV)
- Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Index ETF (EQL)
- Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Index ETF (EQL.F)
Q: For a 10+ year passive hold of approximately 25% weighting of total equities investment (mix of registered and non-registered accounts), do you see an advantage of holding EQL vs a straight S&P 500 index like VFV including taking into account the fees differences. And for non-registered accounts- CAD hedged or non-hedged?
EQL feels a little better to me even with the fee but maybe I'm overthinking this one. Thank you.

Q: Hello
Thinking of retiring and drawing the dividends from our RRSP to replace income from employment until age 71.
Would it make sense to sell the first 4 mentioned and buy only EQL.
This move would give us $5,000. more yearly income from dividends (before taxes).
I mentioned selling VIG because of the currency variability and EQL pays a higher dividend..
We would still maintain growth ETFs like IWO, ICLN, KWEB, PSCH etc.
Thank you for your time.

Q: I am looking for an equal weight, cad hedged Etf’s focused on any or all of the following:
- nasdaq 100
- s&p 500
- technology / IT
I hoping something exists. I’m worried about Over concentration in fang stocks but still love the sector they are in. I also think the USD dominance is coming to an end. Thanks

Q: Are they etfs on the Tsx that give an equal weight to stocks in the Dow or the S and P 500 and do such products reduce the single stock risk in a market cap weighted etf? Thank you, Bill
Q: Hi
I want to reduce tech in my RRSP.
Did very good with XQQ thinking of changing to EQL
Why:
EQL only 13% tech Vs. XQQ 57%
EQL 11 sectors Vs XQQ 8 sectors
EQL higher dividend
Does this make sense?
If any other suggestions please feel free.
Thank You
