Q: I read your last comment on QST’s qtr. Despite the large loss, cash did not fall at all. Was this simply due to asset write offs (non cash)? Also do you know how much the company benefited from the US PPP or Canada’s wags subsidy? I’m just try to find out how the company was able to burn through effectively no cash through an aweful qtr and just wondering if it is sustainable or reasonable to assume that going forward? Thanks

Q: The q numbers, are not a surprise to me...are they better or worse than your expectations? It is the comments found in the president's message also in the Outlook section of the release which I need help deciphering, They sound very positive; do you buy all these opportunities for qst, all the optimism she talks about? How much of this is company spin?

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you please provide an update on the fundamentals of Questor. In particular its cash balance, debt level, insider ownership and recent activity, cash flow, P/E as well as anticipated P/E, and anything else you think is relevant. Also your opinion on its growth prospects and do you think these growth prospects rely completely on the future of the energy sector. Do you think Questor has the ability to outlast a sustained energy downturn. I ask this as an existing shareholder considering selling part of my position (at a substantial loss) and allocating the money somewhere else. Your research and advice has always been very helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Q: Hi, I have had GUD 6% of portfolio at B.E.$8.00 for about 3 years and have finally decided I’am tired of waiting with a large portion , with no dividend. Do you recommend selling all or keeping 2-3%?
Also,do you think qst down 40% , has any chance of getting back to break even in the next couple of years? It seems weak even when the market Is strong?
Thanks

Q: These five stocks make up my small cap portfolio that is by design fairly concentrated and aggressive. I recently added QST on the significant pull back. I’m thinking that it can weather the down turn (great balance sheet) and will likely be a 2x bagger minimum when things turn around. Are there any other small cap names like it, that have been hammered, will survive, and that you could see moving significantly in the next 12-24 months? Thanks

Q: According to Reuters article, companies exercising ESG management are getting favourable attention from large investors. I expect some companies will attract a premium price for some time if they demonstrate ESG and advertise the fact. Could you list a half dozen of 5I favourites companies which are at least on the ESG narrow path to higher valuations.
Thank You for your service.

Q: I have all three of these companies in my portfolios which include non-registered accounts, TFSA's, and trust accounts for my granddaughters, more or less equal weighting overall. I am still not sure of which one(s) to trim or add to. Do you have any suggestions based on fundamentals and balance sheet as well as growth potential. I am not considering the particular type of business they fit into here but rather that they are all small cap and volatile but with potential. Or perhaps should I just keep them as is. Thanks!

Q: I have positions in both companies in my TFSA. With the turmoil in the oil industry, the damage to oil companies and the likelihood that it will continue for a while, I have been thinking about selling QST and buying more XBC. Individual stock weightings is not an issue. Your thoughts ?
