Q: Hi Peter & Associates!
I've held Questor for some time and the stock has fallen dramatically over the last couple of years. Would you recommend holding on to the stock or perhaps holding out in the event the stock recovers?

Q: Hello Peter
I still have Phm 8000@1.046 and Qst 3000@2.57 not looking so good.
Should I sell one and add to the other? Or cut my losses and add to a better growth stock from your growth portfolio?
I am diversified so just looking at a better stock for the next 2-3 years.
Thanks for your work!

Q: Your thought on Q4/Year End results.
Q: Hi, do you think Questor will benefit from the new agreement to reduce methane and is that why it is jumping up today? Thank you
Q: I read your report on this company and questions and answer and you mentioned that this stock need to be kept for 5 years or more. With the stock being down so much from my purchase price and in my TFSA is it not better to just sell and look for another stock with more potential. It is a 7% weight.
Thanks

Q: I originally posted this in the markets forum but did not get any response. Perhaps it was inappropriate for that forum? Anyway I thought I would pose it as an official question.
I am trying to set up a little environmentally friendly “GREEN” investment portfolio. I would like to have ten Canadian (or traded on the Canadian markets) publicly traded stocks, I would like to avoid the power generators wind, solar and hydro and focus more on cleaning up the environment.
For example something like water purification or a bicycle manufacture would qualify.
I am having trouble identifying qualified companies. Either they are not available or my research methods are not effective.
So far I have identified the following four companies. And even then two are closely linked to oil production and are pretty shaky right now.
1. Questor (QST)
2. Newalta (NAL)
3. Lumenpulse(LMP)
4. Vitreous Glass (VCI)
I wonder if you can suggest additional companies or might have some tips to improve my research.

Q: This stock fell from $3.00 earlier this year hit 60 cents on November 27th. It is now trading in the 90 cent range, a 50% increase in less than a month. Is anything significant going on to cause this?? and do you see the upward momentum continuing??
Thanks again for all you do.

Q: Do you think the Paris Climate Accord and the new Liberal government's apparent commitment on climate change makes Questor a buy at this time.
Q: I noticed a little price increase today but I did not see any news out on the company. Do you have anything new today? I also wanted to ask how much each of the metrics you use to grade a company influence the final grade. This company has only one C- but is graded a C+, obviously not every valuation carries the same weight but what is most important to yourselves when evaluating and can I assume that the grade is based on a long term hold in every case? Can you please give the answer as a percentage of each area of the scorecard.
Thank you
Jeremy

Q: Hi Peter
Seems like a decent P/E multiple..small position.......patient investor...any reason not to average down?

Q: I have held Questor all the way down. Should I be letting it go? Or hold on for a recovery. Down 80% on it.
I am sure it is being hurt since it is energy related, but it is down more than straight oil companies, and that I don't understand.

Q: I am considering taking positions in two speculative names - Questor and Sherritt. Given a high risk tolerance, which would you prefer.
Q: Hi Peter and team
With the new governments plans for a low carbon energy trust, i wonder if this will be a boost for questor?

Q: Do you think Questor would be a reasonable speculative buy at the current very low share price (approx. 85 cents)?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Most energy related stocks ended the trading day in the green today. QST is down over 7%. I see no news, can you explain the move down. Sylogist also continues to trend down I was thinking of averaging down on this one but now I am not so sure. Do you think it will recover when the Calgary market looks better.
Q: Hello team, this stock is up huge 2 days in a row and I am wondering why. Any inside scoop?
Q: QST continues to decline, I know there is a direct correlation to the Alberta O&G economy. Do you believe it is a buy at this level?
Thanks
Jim
Thanks

Q: Peter, I had a half position in QST and I am down 52%, so it now represents a very small portion of my portfolio. Reading through recent questions, it appears as though I should sell and replace with ? As it is such a small percentage I can easily add it to any sector and it will not change the overall weighting. Overall, my 5i portfolio is up more than 60% in two years! I can't thank you enough.
