Q: Hi, Would like to start a small cap pool of potential high growth companies in Canada and US. What would be your picks? I have started with XBC and AT..
What would the recommended holding time be? so far my general mistake has been to give up on small cap stocks too early during periods of lull..AT is a good example I quit too early and missed a 10 fold increase and now I am back in..TSLA is another great miss for me not a small cap though.. Thank you.

Regards,

Shyam

Q: TFSA: I treat this account as my bank account because I earn no interest in my checking account which typically has fairly high cash balances and I have other investment accounts accounts that generate a ton of dividends as I am basically a "dividend grower" investor. I am retired and earn more than enough to live on. I own these tech. stocks: ETF IGM, ETF ARKK, and NIO ( I guess not a tech stock). I have approx. $35K in my TFSA to invest. I know you like KXS, SHOP & LSPD - I do not see the same returns as has happened this year and they are not value at this point IMHO. ERGO, three or four of your best suggestions going forward - equal weighting please.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide some fundamentals for Xebec Absorption including P/E, cash on hand and cash flow, debt, insider ownership and anything else you think is particularly important. The stock has risen so quickly that I am not sure whether the fundamentals justify it or it has simply become a 'must own' stock for investors. Do you feel the growth potential is still there. I am having some difficulty trying to decide if I should sell a portion of my holdings or hold on for a longer term.
Thanks.

Q: I have read were some investors will sell half their holdings of a stock if it doubles. The theory I suppose is to take your own money off the table and let the excess run. I have two stocks now that have recently doubled - ZBC & WCP. I invested a full position in both of these stocks which for me is $10,000. Now both have a market value of over $20,000, but I believe both these stocks have a ways to run yet. Do you feel I should sell half of my position or let things go as they are for awhile? Do you believe in the theory about selling half a positions if a stock doubles? Is there merit in doing it? Thanks for your thouights.

Q: Hi 5i - what are your 5 top growth stocks for a 10 year hold across the portfolios? Im looking at XBC, WELL, LSPD, SHOP and STC, but interested in your favorites right now. Thanks, Neil

Q: Hi 5i,
This may well be 4 questions, so please deduct points accordingly.
Portfolio Analytics indicates that I'm underweight in Communications Services, Consumer Defensive, Industrials and Consumer Cyclical, and I'd like to top up these sectors.
I try to be a balanced investor and like income, but I don't mind taking on more risk and little or no income on something with a solid premise. Especially right now I'm looking for companies that are poised to benefit from the return to (more or less) normal life that 2021 might bring.
My present Communications Services weight all comes from the following ETFs - TXF, ZDI, DISC and ZWU. Can you provide a few Canadian equities to look at in this sector at this time, other than the big four?
My present Consumer Defensive weight comes mostly from NWC, with a smidgeon from ETFs like ZFI and DISC. Are there two or three Canadian equities in this sector you'd currently recommend looking at?
My present Industrials weight is in FTG (which I'd be happy to sell unless you think it has the potential for recovery in the coming year), QST and XBC. Are there another two or three Canadian names you presently favor in this sector?
And finally, my only Consumer Cyclical other than whatever might be in the listed ETFs is NFI (although I'd have thought it would properly be classified as an Industrial). Again, could you recommend two or three Canadian equity names that might qualify as viable Consumer Cyclical holdings going forward?
Thanks a lot and Happy New Year!
Peter

Q: Happy New year 🥳.
Could you name 3 to 5 Canadian and US high growth momentum stocks that you feel would likely do well in 2021 irrespective of size, industry etc. Also, could you include in that list one of your favourite high growth silver producer?
Thank you

Q: Happy new year to 5i team!

I own the companies listed above within TFSA in equal positions of 8-10% except KXS where I am at 3% position.
I will add 6K to TFSA in 2021
Option 1: Buy more KXS with new money
Option 2: Buy XBC with new money
Option 3: Sell REAL and buy both KXS and XBC

In your opinions which of above option has better growth potential

Q: Happy New Year 5i,
A question was asked on Jan 04 which I will expand on. Can you rank the following in order to purchase for a 1-3 year hold at a minimum.
AT, XBC, U, FSLY, TTD, PINS, ABNB, CRWD, CRM, WDAY, SNOW, ZM, DOCU
Many of the stocks are in a consolidation period after a sharp rise this year. Of the list, which 5 stocks would be considered a higher risk that they have not bottomed out or a correction may yet be due?

Thank you for your great service.
Cheers,
Debbie and Jerry

Q: Hi Team,
I am looking for some of your best ideas for a 2021 tfsa addition, US and/or cnd in any sector. I am looking for something with multi-bagger potential long term, that is "expected" to be strong into the new year. So far my tfsa is weighted almost entirely tech, which I am ok with with the focus of growth. I was thinking about XBC, but am not committed to that choice. Thank you for your great service!
Shane.
