Q: Can you recommend 5 new growth stocks for a TFSA. I have DOL, TVE, VHI and WELL. Would you keep these, given the high valuations of some of them.

Q: Hi,

Can you please confirm the FY24 and FY25 consensus EPS as seen on your Key Ratios company page for WELL. It seems the EPS is forecast to drop approx 40%.... .17 cents vs .12 cents respectively which does not seem very enticing. Although many of the other key ratios do look attractive so I wonder what is keeping this stock from performing better?
I have owned WELL for awhile now (marginally ahead) but my patience is growing thin and was thinking of splitting some of the proceeds (if I sell) towards Vitalhub and/or Kneat (which are both now close to their 52 week highs vs WELL) as part of my small cap health exposure. I took part in a DKAM update yesterday and they have VHI and KSI as part of their top 10 stocks for 2025 and I have followed some of their recommendations for years and done very well.
Just curious what your favourite is of these 3 health stocks. In the past you have suggested all 3 as favourable at various times but I know acquisitions etc can move some stocks ahead of others and all have made recent headlines.

Cheers,
SMc

Q: Hello Team,

Looking at starting a new position in a few of the 12 companies tagged. Can you rank from 1 to 12 on which companies you think is the best to start a new position in. No worries on size, industry or risk, looking for capital appreciation only over the next 3 years.

Thanks again!

Q: Hello, can you please share your top 5 candidates for potential multi bagger returns within the speculative part of my portfolio? I'm fine with taking on the associated risk and would likely hold within a TFSA as a smaller speculative portion of my portfolio.

Q: This company seems to be doing a lot of things right. The ceo Dan Matlow knows this space well, based on my conversations with him a few years ago. It's business is primarily in the UK but it is making some inroads in Ontario. How does one go about evaluating this business: what comparable companies and what ratios etc do you use? Thank you as I am not very good at determining values in the software industry.

Q: These companies are possible tax loss candidates this fall. Which are most likely to be the best choices for a rebound over the medium term (one - three years)? Please grade accordingly: most likely to rebound (best to worst); potential upside (highest to lowest).

Q: I hold a basket of small technology companies as part of my TFSA and it includes the above names. I am thinking it would be advantageous to switch some or all of the above names into energy. In what order would you dispose of the above companies and are there any you would suggest should be kept? I do have energy holdings in my unregistered account.Thank you.

Q: There are a lot of small to medium sized Canadian technology companies, some of them fairly new to the stock market, that have seen very good stock price appreciation in the last year or two. Many/most of these companies are not profitable, and obviously this is a fairly speculative segment of the market. Today, I heard Darren Sissons talking about JDS Uniphase which went from $2 to $1,000 and back to $2 in the tech bubble 21 years ago. I'm wondering about how many of these small to medium sized Canadian tech companies might suffer a similar fate, and how many will succeed. Of the following list of stocks, what would be your estimate for the % of them that will succeed 5 - 10 years down the road at becoming long term successful businesses, with strong profits and a substantially higher stock price than now, and what % will fall by the wayside, failing to become good profitable businesses, and seeing their stock price drop off substantially. There are no doubt others that could be included in this list, but these are the ones I have picked out. Not asking which ones will succeed, just trying to get an idea of general potential for success/failure for this type of company/stock. ADCO, AT, CTS, DCBO, DND, KSI, LSPD, MVP, NVEI, PHO, QUIS, STC, WISH.
