Q: Just read Peter"s latest article in the Financial Post "Five blockbuster deals that would inject some excitement into markets during quarantine". So with a limited amount of cash on hand which of these possible deals is the most likely? A list of 1 to 5 woiuld be great. And should I be buying the predator or the prey?
thank you

Q: Good morning,

I have some cash to add to 3 new US technology positions. I am looking for growth, and I am comfortable with volatility. Looking out 5 years what would be your favourites from the list above at current valuations. Any concerns with the list above? I already own MSFT, SQ, RPD, DOCU, AYX. If you have other suggestions please do share. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Valter

Q: Which stocks (US or Cdn) in your opinion may serve as something of a hedge during the virus scare. Kinaxis, for example, doesn't seem to be getting beaten up (yet). I'm thinking of online shopping support stocks, streaming networks, or other businesses that won't be affected, and may even see a boost, if people choose to stay in.

Q: Would appreciate your assessment of the merits of continuing to hold half-positions in BOX, NVDA, SQ, and SPOT, in search of above-average returns going forward and comfortable with risk. If you were on the sidelines, would you initiate new positions in any of the holdings, or alternatively are there merits in reducing any of these positions today in favour of more attractive risk/return opportunities in the US technology space (and if so, which tech opportunities have captured your recent favour)? Thanks for excellent services rendered.

Q: Just finished portfolio analytics. Very underweight healthcare with only BIIB in my US holdings. Also learned the following make up less than 1% positions. Which would you add to and which could be let go. Have significant tech exposure. Can you suggest another US helathcare company or should I just add to BIIB to a reasonable weight.

Q: Hi team,
I did a fast calculation and my tech weighting is at 31%, broad etf's at 29% and the crumbs that are left over in energy, consumer dis. industrial, communication and health.
From the tech sector my highest weighing is SHOP at 5.04% all the way down to PHO at 1.88%

Although CYBR.B is an etf, I lump it in the tech sector. If you had to remove one or two to lessen the weighting which stock would you sell. I really like all those stocks but I am also aware need to up the other sectors.

Thank you

Q: I am trying to consolidate my U.S. TFSA into ETF's. On the tech side I own AMZN( nice profit) NVDA ( down 38%) and SPOT (down 4%) I am thinking of selling them and buying QQQ ETF instead.
On the financial side I own JPM (down 2.7%) V (down 1%) and SQ (down 6%) Thinking of selling these and buying DGRO ETF.
Your thoughts on this? Also if there are other ETF's that you think would be better for tech and financials, please let me know. Please deduct two credits if you deem it necessary.
Thanks for your great advice,
Jen
