Q: I have about 6000 shares of PMI and had pretty much given up on them. Recently trading was halted as they prepare to do some kind of reverse takeover with Penta Nova Energy. Could you please comment on what this might mean for my shares? Thanks

Q: I was disappointed to see PMI sell its prize asset before being able to realize its true potential. True, the holes were horribly expensive which meant that gambling on a wildcat in Molisht pretty much did this company in. Would you agree with this assertion? Or would you think it is the oil price crash that has made pure exploration play unpalatable for financings?
Q: What is your opinion of the quality of the management at Petromanas? I believe they've made some dubious decisions such picking the wrong rig(2000hp instead of 3000hp), and spending money in a futile attempt (so far) to prove reservoir connectivity between 2 of their main prospects (one of which is a 100% wildcat)
Q: I would like to know what valuation model could be used for an early stage exploration company that has not booked any reserves. I am looking at some old analyst reports and they are using a Net Asset Value model and assigning Chance of Geological Success as high as 25-35% on some wells. How would one come up with a realistic CoGS number in this case. Nuttall says CoGS should be 3% so now my range is between 3%-35%. Can I just put in the mid?

Philip Morris, PM on the NYSE, is listed by Morningstar as having a P/B value of -17.1. Can you tell me how that's possible with a company like this, and could you expand a bit and give me your take on the stock at current prices.
thanks

Q: There have been a lot of announcements in the last couple of days for Petromanas Energy (V.PMI)including:
1. the test well results;
2. the resignation of two directors;
3. The sale of 46 million shares by the largest shareholder and the corresponding purchase of almost 16 million of those shares by insiders.
What is one to make of all of this and is it worthwhile holding my position?
Thanks
Robert
