- Horizons Enhanced Income US Equity (USD) ETF (HEA)
- BMO Canadian High Dividend Covered Call ETF (ZWC)
- Harvest Brand Leaders Plus Income ETF (HBF)
- BMO Premium Yield ETF (ZPAY)
Q: What are the risks associated with investing in ZPAY? Also are there any similar funds with the same risks and rewards?
Thanks Mike

- iShares S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF (XIU)
- Dynamic Active Global Dividend ETF (DXG)
- Harvest Brand Leaders Plus Income ETF (HBF)
- CI MSCI Canada Quality Index Class ETF (FQC)
Q: Hi,
I'm looking for an ETF that holds a small number of high quality Canadian stocks - say about 25 holdings. A yield similar to XIC or XIU would be nice but not critical.
HBF and DXG are a couple of ETF examples that I use for US and international companies. So something similar to these but holding Canadian companies. I don't mind paying a slightly higher MER for a somewhat more active portfolio management style.
Thanks,
Gord

Q: Good Day Team,
Looking for a good solid opportunity to invest in and thought about HBF and possibly HGR. Would you advise me to go this route or are the better routes to take.
I am retired and 70 years of age.
Thank you,
John G.

Q: I hold HBF in a non registered account 5%. Based on total return I’m barely above water. It’s good for income , 7%, . I’ve been investing mainly in quality dividend stocks and have done quite well on dividend income and growth. Mainly investing in CO’s that have a history of increasing dividends, aristocratic family. This is the only etf in the portfolio. Any suggestions as to a replacement?
Q: For US diversity in an RRSP is this a decent choice ?
Thanks Steve
Thanks Steve
Q: Can you please comment on the harvest funds and their unusual high distribution. On a general note, I have about 7 years till retirement, is a covered call strategy beneficial?
Thanks,
Dave

- BMO Nasdaq 100 Equity Hedged To CAD Index ETF (ZQQ)
- BMO S&P 500 Hedged to CAD Index ETF (ZUE)
- Harvest Brand Leaders Plus Income ETF (HBF)
Q: Hello: I currently own ZQQ yield of .52% and ZUE yield of 1.5%. I find that HBF has a much higher yield of 7.1% and will basically mimic the first two etfs, would you agree? Is HBF a reliable etf, if yes should I invest new money into it or use it as a replacement for either one or both of the other two. I’m retired and I am after some growth but mainly income.
Thanks
Thanks
- Constellation Software Inc. (CSU)
- Currency Exchange International Corp. (CXI)
- Harvest Brand Leaders Plus Income ETF (HBF)
Q: Is this a good time to buy CSU or should I wait?
And CXI, I am down 25% and waiting! Should I sell?
What is your opinion of HBF?
Happy New Year and thanks,
Connie

Q: What are your thoughts on this ETF to get US exposure and reliable income?
Q: As always, would appreciate your assessment of this ETF. Questrade lists HBF @ $8.81 and also HBF.U @ $9.......what is the difference?
Mant Thanks! Austin

Q: For diversification of U.S. blue chips I have been looking at a combination of HBF and ZWH. There is about a five company overlap in holdings, HBF is not as liquid or as diversified in its holdings, is smaller in size but pays a higher dividend. Income and reduced risk are my primary objectives. What are your thoughts on HBF, would it be desirable to hold both and if you were to consider a combination what percentage would you consider?
Thank you for considering my questions

Q: On July 7 you answered a question about this ETF and stated it had a yield of 2.3% and a MER of 1.58%. Gordon Pape has issued a buy recommendation and indicated a yield of 7.4% and a mgt. fee of 0.75%. Could you please clarify this discrepancy and your own current view for this security.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Wondering if you have an opinion on an etf - HBF, a mix of top brand name companies. If so - do you think their high dividend is sustainable? Thanks so much.
