Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

In reviewing our combined family TFSA portfolio, I’ve determined that we hold too much XST with its 0.61% MER. How would you rank the following stocks, which are all the constituents of XST? ATD.B, L, MRU, WN, SAP, EMP.A, PBH, PRMW, MFI, NWC, JWEL, VFF, and SOY.

Should I pay attention to the TMX ratings where WN, MFI, and VFF are considered strong buys? Only NWC was ranked as hold and all the others were moderate buys.

In your opinion, in what order could two or three of these constituents be purchased and are they buyable today?

Thanks as always for your valued advice!

Q: Would like to pick your brain.
Can you give me 5 Canadian NON 5i portfolio stocks that you consider high growth and would probably put in your growth portfolios if you had the cash.

Like KXS, DSG, CSU 5 years ago or LSPD, WELL etc 2 years ago.

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you comment on curaleaf's earnings? This company has been doing well but it looks like the market did not like its current earnings yet the company is growing nicely. Also, why would a company remove the current CEO that has done quite well for the company? Any reason for the other three stocks: jwel well, and doc to be taking a hit. Is this just short term sector rotation due to the vaccine announcement and if so, is it better just to hold these for longer timeframe? Thanks very much.

Q: Hello Peter,
I have a 2 percent holding of jamieson wellness. Any comments on their recent earnings that would justify increasing or decreasing the weight in my portfolio? Also, would this be a good time to allocate monies to Well Health and Cloud MD? Any idea why TDOC is taking a hit? Is this because of Pfizer's announcement of the effectiveness of its vaccine? Thanks very much.

Q: Hello Peter,
i feel that i have been fooled by Mr Goodman on Knight. I have been patiently waiting as others on a large acquisition and despite the purchase the stock is still languishing . I wonder if it is worth hanging on or throw in the towel. My current thought is take my 5 percent position and reduce it by adding to jamieson wellness and Xebec adsorption. Your thoughts please. Also, TDOC in US is constantly moving higher yet well in Canada (well health ) seems to be in trading range .. Any thoughts please.

Q: Hello Peter,
Wellness, Xebec Absorption, Jamieson Wellness, all had decent numbers recently with Wellness announcing an acquisition of Indivica which I thought would have been received well. Any comments as to why these stocks are not moving much understanding they have done well. Other high tech stocks surge on any announcements so am curious. Also, kirkland lake is heading lower where other gold stocks are moving higher. Thanks.

Q: Thank you for May 5th report. # 3 states that this may be an opportunity to trim some names that have rallied significantly to reposition into a more conservative large cap portfolio. Could you give some examples of companies that would fall into those categories?
