Q: Hi I am still looking for Growth opportunity PLUS INCOME ( main criteria).

Also looking to diversify. Currently I own no European stocks.

Can I have your thoughts on BEUR : mer 0.9% and yield @ 6.4%

Or is there a better opportunity out there.

Thanks.

Q: Can I please get your opinion on this ETF for dividends and some growth. It seems to me this fund used to be nicely balanced with about 40 stocks all equally weighted and balanced sector wise. 20 US and 20 CAD holdings. Also the AUM looks to have decreased. The holdings and breakdown look much less appealing now, being overweight financials and energy not that different than any other Canadian div etf. thoughts and replacement options.
Thank you!

Q: Which of these do you think is 'better', in terms of dividend sustainability and overall long-term total return (I know you would prefer VGG/VIG to both)? I like the value tilt of PUD.B (P/E ratio less than that of XDU and broad US market), but it is an expensive ETF, with a MER of 0.67 compared to 0.14 for XDU. Do you think the extra MER is worth it? In a market downturn, of course both will suffer, but do you think PUD.B might perform a bit better? Currently, I hold a bit of both, should I continue to hold both or just pick one (and if one, which one?) This is for a longterm hold. I am comfortable with the relatively small (but growing) assets under management of XDU. Thank you.

Q: Happy New Year, and all the best of 2018.
Our granddaughter is 18 months old. Currently her RESP consists of 64% WN.PR.C and 33% XDIV. I was considering adding XDUH, the hedged version of the above fund, for both growth and income, with this year's total contribution. For direct growth, would it be wise to split this year's contribution between XDUH and SIS, given that all of these investments I make on her behalf are extremely long term holds.

Thanks again. Susan

Q: I know these iShares ETFs were just released, but wondering if you were able to form an opinion on these based on its current holdings. The MER seems quite reasonable and am wondering you feel these would be suitable to gain diversification outside of Canada.

Thank you!
