Q: As a Fortuna investor I was disappointed in the Roxgold takeover offer. I try and avoid the geographical areas Roxgold is in and also want FVI for a silver play. I see no advantage to the takeover from FVI's perspective and it looks like the market agrees. What do you think about this offer and merger with Roxgold? Does it make sense to you?

Q: Hi 5i Team
I'm considering inserting a materials sector in portfolio as I am suspecting they are undervalued. Looking at 5 stocks for 1.5% each. 1 each for Gold, Silver, Copper, Steel and Agriculture. Would the 5 names submitted be the best in your opinion or would you change any. Looking for reasonable safety and growth.

Q: Hello Peter,
I have several 'half positions' in my TFSA and new cash to top up a few. While I know these are very different companies (APR.UN, AVLR, EGLX, PHO, XBC, FVI and ENGH), if you were investing with a 5 year time frame and had a 7 or 8 out of 10 comfort level with risk, in what order would you top these up, with the goal of best total return (not necessarily 'home runs'). I own above stocks and represent 6% weight in my total portfolio. The stocks have came down a bit with recent weakness on the gold and silver movement. Should I trim down some of the position? I am still in profit but worry that these stocks may go down further. thanks!

What's your top five high/medium risk junior miners as I'm not opposed to switching? I'm thinking high grade deposits are most attractive since they will be scooped up first by the majors.

Q: When I graph the performance of these four gold miners over a period of three months, six months or year to date, KNT and FVI appear to have performed best. Can I trust Mr Market here? I hold shares in each of these two companies. Should I add to these positions or sell them in preference to MMX and WDO?
If you do not trust what the market seems to be telling me here please explain why.

Q: I looked up FVI(Fortuna Silver) in the question base and no one has asked about it before. So, this is the first time. What are your views on this company; it has more than doubled in about two months. I've only got half a position on it. Should I take profits? Hang on as silver is playing catch-up? Go full weight?

Q: am considering forming my own mid to small cap etf...
looking at a total investment of $20,000 divided equally...
would appreciate your thoughts on these companies..
if you prefer something else pls. advise...especially if it is something you strongly believe in! and if so which one would you take out.
