Q: Please comment on Firm Capital's recent results. I know you have considered it a high risk income stock but given that it has gotten its payout ratio down to 100% and its limited mortgage renewal over the next two years plus having high rate of occupancy in properties that are in demand, do you feel better about it now?

Q: Do you think FCD-UN stock price will go up or down in the next 6 months, and why do you think that?
Q: Good evening
Can you please comment on this REIT ? Dividend was not cut since 2013 and according to my broker's record there was considerable insider buying during the last year. Lately it is dropping. Would you consider it a sell, buy or hold ? I will appreciate it if you can also comment on the dividend sustainability
Thanks

Q: My position in FCD.UN is down almost 28% in the last year. The shares bumped up recently following earnings release on Nov 10 but then resumed the downtrend. The earnings release shows that distributions are 113% of AFFO. The company bought back 147,000 shares during the quarter. While fewer shares mean fewer distributions, is this a wise expenditure when distributions are over 100% of AFFO? Do think the dividend is safe or should I take my losses and cash out? Thanks for your advice.
Q: Could you comment on Firm Capital's latest quarter? FFO and AFFO are down Q to Q and FFO Y to Y. The distribution is well over 100%.. Does something have give regarding the distribution?
Q: Do you have a preference for Firm Capital Mortgage (FC) or Firm Capital Property (FCD.UN)? Would you buy either, both or neither for stable income and any reason(s) would be appreciated. Thanks.
Q: please provide an up date. good yield , us play .would you recommend
Q: I hold these in my TFSA. Do you think this is the best type of account to hold these in? Also, do you feel that these would be higher risk stocks compared to the general market as there seems to be a real estate bubble and would these come down exponentially more if / when there is a correction?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
First Capital is a small trust with market cap of 125M (based on WSJ info). Yesterday, it announces 266 M purchase/co-ownership with First Capital Realty.
Jan 9, 2019 Crombie Reit anounced a sale of 104M ish to the group.
Questions:
Is FCD.UN a good investment today for a 10 years horizon?
Do you think that this can be a step to turn First Capital Realty to a REIT? or a planned merger of all First Capital assets into 1?
My annual membership will end soon, a day before my BD so I always remember to give myself a gift of membership in support of the last independent advisor for DYI.
