I have owned GOOS for the past 3yrs and I am questioning the company's prospects moving forward giving their performance and their dependence on the Chinese economy for growth.

Considering replacing GOOS with ATZ. Management seems to execute well and their track record of growth is impressive.

Got interested because, it seems to me, that the wealthy and the luxury companies they're buying things from are doing just fine, recession or not.

Q: Peter; Minister Joly has basically warned Canadian companies to expect upcoming government positions on China and to be “ clear eyed” when doing business there. Are there any companies, already doing business there, that might be affected? Thanks

Q: Hello , following is my list of losers .. and I am assessing which ones to sell this month for YE capital loss. I appreciate your comments.

As an aside; in watching the huge drop in some of these stocks, one certainly wonders about the wisdom of their CEO's ... as an example META, they are spending billions on Metaverse so that people can work and play and interact in virtual reality .. maybe in the year 2050 !!. and many others that just didn't adopt their businesses to people post Covid returning to work and shop at malls... truly incompetent .. For me, this crash has convinced me to buy shares in companies that are making money and have a strong management team.

Should I buy a replacement for each to protect against a turnaround in the next 30 days, or do you think I'm better off holding the cash for that period given the current outlook for equities. Considering my high exposure to Tech and your last market update, I might need to consider more consumer cyclical and financial stocks as well as others to balance the portfolio. I’m looking to have a mix of growth and value holdings.

I would appreciate your recommendations on new Canadian or US acquisitions and possible entry points. Can you recommend one of two of the US Tech stocks to sell and replace it with GOOG.
