Q: PNG recently did a $10M "bought deal" financing at $.67. If it is a "bought deal" does that mean Canaccord are in essence buying $10M worth of newly issued shares at $.67 and they are getting a big discount (prior market was $.78-.80)? Will Canaccord be re-selling these shares to clients at a premium to themselves or just adding them to their own portfolios? Also, if Cannacord have already bought the shares why is the market reacting so negatively? Is it because of the dilution? Last but not least why such a big discount for Canaccord?

Q: Hi crew, what 5-10 micro-cap stocks have the biggest runway for growth? How about small cap?

Thank you,
Kevin

Q: Kraken - Current earnings appear to show modest revenue despite a significant contract announcement some while ago, so I am wondering about the growth prospects for this company. What I would like to ask is whether the market for Kraken's products provide a good opportunity for growth or is it inherently small/limited in prospects?
Greenlane appears to be struggling to break even notwithstanding improving revenue, a (significantly?) larger backlog and what I would call an outstanding quote book which borders on the gigantic. How do you view the prospects for GRN as well as XBC, assuming they don't get Trumped like Questor?
Re DOC and WELL I have been trying to determine whether these two have the same/similar business models or not, as the more recent announcements by DOC have been on the acquisition of clinics to support a team, which appears to be a collaborative model for medical services, while WELL's emphasis appears to be on digital records and remote services. Do these two occupy the same space or are they inherently different and might one offer better prospects than the other?
Thank you for your responses.

Q: I am always interested in penny stocks with actual earnings that seem overlooked by the market. Are you aware of any reasons why this stock is so continually overlooked or, conversely, any upcoming activity that might burst the stock out of its sub-$.25 status?

Q: I have what I call a mini portfolio of higher risk stocks in addition to my portfolio of diversified quality portfolio.
I presently hold ATE, AKU, PNG. I want to add 3 oil stocks to this portfolio. Thinking maybe, VET, MEG and NVA. Opinion. Any other likely candidates in the smal/mid cap. Candidates should be less than $5 and a good hedge position to protect them over the next 6 months.

Q: Good morning, I hold these smaller cap companies in my TFSA for more aggressive growth, a strategy I believe you endorse.
In this new reality, I am thinking of a more conservative approach and selling the above and converting to FTS, RY, XRE, SLF.
If things recover well I will get a great pop on the big caps without the individual company risk associated with the smaller caps. If things go poorly with the recovery, my large cap mix should drop a lot less than the smaller caps.
Also, any of the above smaller caps that you do not like.

Thanks
Rob

Q: I have the following securities in what I consider a balanced portfolio. The fixed income portion doesn’t show here because it consists of OAS. CCP. Plus two other pensions.
I’m thinking of sell part position in MMX ( small loss);and ARE to realize a capital loss while at the same time raising some cash for the next pullback. I like TFII . We need to keep the food chain moving. Trucking an important part . The other is cargo jet. Am I on the right track . Your opinion. Or would you look elsewhere given the current holdings.

Q: The vanguard ETFs make up 13% of my portfolio. In the tech space I own PNG & LSPD.
A little bit overweight in both due to increase in value . If I were to buy another tech stock which would you suggest. My portfolio contains mostly dividend stocks with some Growth. My biggest risk would be if interest rates were to rise.
