Q: Hello,
What are your current 'best ideas' in the micro to small cap space, 5 in Canada and 5 in the US for a 5 year hold that have a market cap of at or below $1 billion market cap, are founder-led, have high insider ownership and high forecasted annual revenue growth (greater than 20%/yr)? Thank you.

Q: Crypto currency seems on the rise. Good short article today in Barron's. This is a real threat to visa and mastercard business models. I would not want to own those stocks. On the other hand, Versa bank (vb) should benefit and they are about to get us broker coverage with their pending Nasdaq listing. It could see a huge increase in share price. Gosh the company even makes good money.

Q: Seems to me that the financial sector stands to benefit from current economic conditions. That being considered, I would appreciate it if you would share some , small, medium and large cap companies that you would buy at this time to take advantage the possible upside potential of various financials. They could be both Canadian and American companies.

Q: VB on a bit of a tear the last few months. I’m at 1/2 position and can’t decide whether to hold for overall financial sector diversification (also hold BNS, TD, SUnlife, MFC) or sell and add to one or all four of these large caps. Given VB’s valuation has now caught up to the sector, my thinking is it only now moves with the sector on go forward basis, so why not play that game with a safer large cap financial name? Does this make sense?

Last quarter I was considering watching my short-leash holdings like VB and COV for one or two more quarters ... considering the situation today would you carry on down the same path patiently or reconsider as that 1-2 quarters looks like it will be much longer?
