Q: For a 3 year hold, would you prefer cov or crh?
Q: I know you don't have a crystal ball, but I'm starting to feel that COV may be another RHT. Any thoughts?
Q: Hi, Any idea, why COV is down another 10-15%, today, traded as low as $3.54 ? Is it still tax loss selling or any news ? Thanks
Q: Is cov's announced issuance of stock options today, causing it to be down 13% this today. Your current thoughts on COV would be appreciated.
Q: Recently you are not mentioning Covalon as a growth pick. Has your stance changed on the company. Do you think it can breach it's previous high in the next 6 months or so.
- Covalon Technologies Ltd. (COV)
- General Mills Inc. (GIS)
- Philip Morris International Inc (PM)
- Methanex Corporation (MX)
- Stars Group Inc. (The) (TSGI)
Q: Hi 5i,
Can I have your opinion on averaging down on these in the current climate, say in the next few days,. Without regard for weightings, risk profile etc, could you rank them in order that you would chip away at them?
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter,
Please deduct as many credits as you see fit. I have some losers (some big) as per below:
Margin account
CLIQ down 52%
PHO down 37%
MX down 20%
TFII down 23%
ECN down 13%
NFI down 11%
TFSA
GUD down 17%
CLS down 20%
DOL down 38%
TSGI down 47%
RRSP
DOO down 43%
COV down 26%
Here are my questions.
1- Should I claim the capital loss with CLIQ and PHO and repurchase in 30 days?
2- Are there any names there that I should just sell and move on to something else? What would be your top 3 replacements for the removed names in that case?
3- My initial thought was to inject new money in CLIQ, PHO, DOL, TSGI, DOO and COV to bring these names back to my initial weight. Would this be a good move in your opinion?
These names are part of a diversified portfolio and don’t need the funds for another 10 years minimum.
Much appreciate your service. Your responses to this market volatility have kept me from panicking as I did in 2008. I thank you for that.

Q: What is the consensus estimate for Q4 revenue and eps please.
Q: In my last question I had asked you to rank the above companies with respect to risk.
"We would rank these: GSY, COV, NFI, PHO."
The order of the list was not clear to me, since it was a little different than I expected.
Is GSY the lowest or highest long term risk?
I'm including the rating and stability from the flash report for my benefit.
GSY: B+, medium
COV: B, low
NFI: A-, medium
PHO: B-, low
Cheers.

Q: Hi Guys - I am looking for 2-3 "core" ideas to invest in for the next 3-5 years to provide solid gains but also a couple of potential "home runs" - ideas that can go up 2-5x (but obviously have risk associated). Which names are you most excited about?
Thanks in advance,

Q: Greetings, I have not asked a question for a while now (2 years?); here it goes. This seems like a good time to deploy some of my cash held in my TFSA. Can you suggest a stock similar to KXS in potential? Maybe GUD, PHO? Thanks as ever.

Q: Hi Guys, my above holdings got wacked lately and was wondering if there is anything going on, from the above list should I sell anything besides WEED, are the institutions selling these companies because they think there is more to the downside? These are long term holdings are all up except for COV and KXS which I just bought before the tumble, not one of my best moves.
Thanks
