Q: Good afternoon gang
I am underwater in all of these stocks in one of my non registered accounts. I would like to sell and then buy back in 30 days or more in my TFSA or RRIF (not sure which). Do you feel any of these may pop up within that time frame? With that in mind in what order should I sell first..to last? Your suggestions will be greatly valued as always.

Q: Hi Gang, good news is I sold most of the above with gains except for COV and KXS, looking closer if I did not the losses would put me in big trouble, over 40% for most of them from the high, I know that 2018 was not a stellar year but I'm 65 years old and can't wait 5 years for these stocks to come back, do you have any thoughts on how to get out before a stock takes a 40% haircut, is a 8% or 10% stop rule help or perhaps farther out. Q: Hi, i’am down approximately 30%, and 50%+ on wcp. At 30% I take a look to see if it is worth holding on or just switching.
My question is would you sell any of these 4 stocks or just hang-on? Also could you give 1 or 2 alternative replacement for each ?

Q: Hi 5i, I own CSU,COV,KXS, PLC (-3%), and PHO (-12%), however overall I'm 30% up (thank you), I have an extra 11K to add to my TFSA, would you recommend 1 or 2 stocks to complement my tfsa holdings. I'm 3 years away from retirement, medium risk. Would you get rid of any of my holdings?

Q: First I want to just thank-you for making me a better investor not just with your recommendations but with your approach. Covalon has. in Appendix B of their annual statement included the notice of the change of auditors. The 'resignation' of BDO is, as it turns out, at the request of Covalon. We are also informed (elsewhere) that there will be no vote on the financial statement. I have gone through about as many of their recent Sedar filings as I can take and perhaps I am reaching here, but is this normal practice to you? Any red flags?

Q: In my portfolio I have following Canadian equities: AQN (4.9%), BCE (4.78%), BNS (4.64%), WXM (4.5%), SIS (3.8%), BEP (2.68%), MG (2.29%), KXS (2.03%), PBH (1.94%), MX (1.92%), COV (1.87%), TSGI (1.76%).

I have a full positions worth of cash I would like to add to my Canadian content and was wondering on your thoughts as to adding to one new stock (ATD.B, WSP, CCL.B, other suggestion), 2 half positions, or adding to my existing positions.

I have a 20 year time frame and comfortable with some risk.

Q: Back in the glory days of PHM, CXR, VRX etc I feel like everyone was looking for "doubles". Expectations seem more modest (pot stocks excepted) these days but I am wondering if 5i could highlight 3 stocks in Canada and 3 in the US that have the fundamentals to suggest a possible double in 2019/2020? If you have time, a few words on the expected catalyst for each as to why the runway is long? Deduct credits as required to provide a full reply please.

Q: Good Morning,
I have narrowed down my decision to buying either COV or PHO for my $6000 TFSA contribution this year. I don't need the money for years into the future and risk is not an issue. I like both very much but wondering what you think for maximum growth? I think PHO is more cyclical and if we do get into a recession in the next 2-3 years it could take a pretty big hit. However, Covalon being in the medical supplies industry I would think it would hold up pretty well during a recession? What would you buy to maximize growth over the next 10 years plus ?

Q: Hi 5I,
The above names are all owned in my TFSA. Of these, I am underweight in COV, IWO, PHO, SDX, SYZ AND VB. I've got some cash to put to work with a long term objective. With consideration to the sector weighting, and my under weights, would you recommend I top up on any at this time or maybe introduce a completely different name or names to the portfolio? Thanks!

Q: Good afternoon, I am looking to add 2 of the above stocks (or others if you recommend?) to a TFSA, I am tech heavy already (FB, AMZN, GOOGL, NFLX, NVDA) I am up on all of those still except NVDA. I own favorites GSY, SIS, PBH, TSGI already at full positions. These chosen stocks are all good companies, which are all down recently with the market pullback, which companies would you add? Thank you!
