Q: Hello,
In the consumer discretionary sector would you consider COTY or ULTA to be attractive? Which one would you pick?

COTY was an offshoot of PG I believe..TOI is from CSU..Does Mark Leonard have any say in the management of TOI? If Topicus were to follow in CSU's footsteps (framework) they would do very well. Are there any such precedents where offshoots have done very well? Why do companies sell of portions of the company? Thanks and happy family day. No rush to answer these questions. Cheers, Shyam

Q: Good Morning, I enjoy your site very much. I am looking for a top 8 list of U.S. Dividend Aristocrats to buy now and hold long term while taking advantage of any DRIP's. That is also paying north of a 5% dividend.

Q: Could please explain the following statement regarding COTY shares.

Offeror has informed the Company that, including Shares delivered pursuant to notices of guaranteed delivery, the total number of Shares validly tendered into the Offer and timely delivered was 336,614,903. Because the Offer was oversubscribed, the number of Shares purchased from each tendering stockholder has been prorated to limit the aggregate number of Shares purchased to 150,000,000. Offeror has informed the Company that the final proration factor for the Offer is 44.56%.

I tendered my 200 COTY shares to be purchased at $11.65. Does the statement imply that only 44.56% of my shares will be purchased? And should I wait for the tendered shares to be purchased or should I just sell all 200 on the stock exchange? Thanks … Cal

Q: Hi, I have a small position on Coty ( previusly held P&G). But this transfer has not fared so well down 20%. Wondering if I should hold onto to this or move to a small cap etf like IWO or IJR. Thanks. Shyam
