Q: What order and at what price would you nibble at the stocks listed (already own them all at this point but no full positions other than Cost) + brief explanation why?

Would it make sense to sell MG and buy ATZ. Both are consumer cyclical stocks
I am thinking ATZ has a better short term outlook.

Of the following Companies that make up my portfolio what would be your TOP 3 conviction names to ADD to over the next year based on long term growth potential, good valuation, well run, good management, no brainer this will be a good investment type choice. There is opportunity here so don't want to miss the boat. Yes everything is down. Yes people are panicking. But it will go back up and simply want to focus my energy on the ones with more conviction. I don't need the money for the next 15-20 yrs but don't want to be a moron either and be happy with a bit of dividend here and there when I could see larger returns by making a good decision today. Thinking of selling MG in my cash account and replacing it with ATZ.

I can use the capital loss, to off set the gains on my energy I am sold.

Does this make sense?

Atz beat earnings and things appear to be going strong on all fronts for the business…yet the stock tanks some more today. Is this one of those disconnects where an investor should be buying more shares ?

Q: Hi. Aritzia is down more than their share today. In their last quarter report they forecast a decent lookout.
Would mgmt have to issue a missed earnings forecast? I seem to think i’ve seen some companies do this.

Q: I have trimmed some of my oil % gas stocks today back to my sector weight and would like to rotate the proceeds to other stocks. I already have the Balance Portfolio of stocks including MG at full position and was thinking of buying some LNR to complement MG or do you think there are other stocks in the Balanced Portfolio that you would consider more compelling at this time? Q: Given your recent answer regarding CROX, I had a look at the sector and noticed big moves yesterday. Also many of these are very near lows for the year. My question is would you put money to work in the sector now? Do you have a few favourites and is there an ETF that emphasizes this retail/clothing part of consumer discretionary as opposed to something like XLY which emphasizes very different segments? Q: What are the best types of stocks to include in TFSA for long term hold (15-20yrs) with medium risk tolerance? Growth only or growth + income? Have heard that dividend stocks in TFSA can be good as income can compound over time tax free but if the growth outperformes the dividend yield would that not be better? Also could you include your top 10 Canadian picks right now for allocation in TFSA (sector doesn't matter)? Thanks
