Q: TFSA losers . ET down 27%, RMO 42%, RHC 37%, TCS 55%, FSZ 47%. Are any of these worth keeping? I thank you for your guidance,
Q: Hi
I'm down 50% on these two. I am thinking of selling and buying LMN with the proceeds. In 3 years would I be happy with that decision?

Q: In response to a recent question about TCS, you said “We would be comfortable adding to the position given the recent weakness in share price.”
Would you sell ILLM to buy more TCS, which I already own, or add to GOOGL, which I also own and which I know you like, or would you stick it out with ILLM?
I have held ILLM for a long time, and don’t want to sell if it has more potential than the other stocks mentioned. But I would hate to see a tech rally over the next few years while ILLM sits on the side lines. Do you think the recent ticker symbol change could be signalling a forthcoming change in strategy?

Q: Could you please comment on Tecsys? I am strongly considering adding to my position here.
Q: Regardless of sector, in which order would you add for long term positions?

Q: Generic question: according to one money manager, a number of stocks are now being priced at “zero” …. clearly not zero , but well below traditional metrics for evaluating stocks.( FRC the most obvious example)
AND also arguing that this has not happened since 2008.
As always I am interested in the 5i perspective, please and thank you.
And can you think of stocks that fall into that category?

Q: What small to mid cap companies can you recommend that have been beaten up due to market conditions but have a high chance of success long term? Looking at a potential entry point this year with the prospect of beating out the returns of larger cap names that may be in a similar situation. Could you also give a brief thought on the risk/reward of this approach as well. Thanks very much.
Q: Thoughts on recent results? Wondering whether to add to existing small position, or not. Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on the fundamentals of Questor including cash reserves, level of debt, earnings etc. With this in mind, is it strong enough to weather a continued market slump in growth stocks. Does it have the potential for growth. Also can you provide your opinion on management, its background experience and its holdings of common shares. Has there been any significant insider trading lately. If I decide to finally move on from this stock do you have any suggestions for a replacement growth stock, not necessarily in the same sector.

Q: Please rank the above technical sectorequities that are in your Growth Portfolio for best expected performance for the next five years. Please provide comments on the top three to support your ranking.
Q: I have been looking at red ink regarding these two firms for some time. Do you still feel they will do well over the next year or two?
Q: These three software tech stocks have grown their dividends over the last decade plus. I'm looking at them as part of a dividend/income portfolio. Are they a buy at this time? If so at what price? PEs are all rather high. Thanks

Q: I use my TFSA to buy and hold low-debt, cash flow positive, technology companies with good long-term growth prospects. My TFSA holdings (ENGH, OTEX, SYZ, TCS, AIF, REAL and AT, ranked by weight) total about 8% of my overall portfolio. My holdings in AT and REAL have fallen to about 1% of my overall portfolio, because of their poor performance, versus 2.5% average holding for each stock in the overall portfolio. I am considering the following options:
1. Keep both AT and REAL for a long term (10+ year) hold (i.e. do nothing)
2. Sell one and consolidate into the other for a long term hold (but which one to keep?)
3. Sell both and consolidate into my other TFSA holdings (which one(s)?)
I would welcome your thoughts with respect to each option, given there is no tax loss selling benefit in a TFSA. Thanks!

Q: I note that you just added TCS to your growth portfolio and it dropped like a stone today about 8%. Any comment on what might have caused the drop. Fortunately, I bought my shares just off the bottom today and it has recovered somewhat.
Q: Hello Peter,
Could you please comment on Tecsys results? The stock is in the dumps which is surprising as the company is in supply chain area which is a good place to be, and the results did not seem that bad. Does it compete with Kinaxis? Thanks very much
