Q: Hello,
The last question about this company was in October 2020. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this one now that the the GMP shares tender is a few months behind us. I note that a director purchased $260,000 worth of shares in late December at just under $2.00/share.

Q: This stock is slowly approaching the rejected “offer” of $2.30. Do you think there is more upside? Ie Buy, sell, or hold?
Q: Hello:
What would be your advice on the tender offer of GMP shares at $2.42?
Thank you very much!

Q: How does the GMP news move the stock from here?
Q: Where do you see GMP capital going from here. They seem to be prudent at suspending the dividend. I'm down maybe 30% and am thinking of just holding
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I own GMP. I guess this consolidation means that my share count will be cut in half. Management says that this consolidation is a great move. However the stock is crashing. Please give your assessment of this and what I might expect as a share holder going forward. Thanks!

Q: Have held this one for about a year now and am even on the price and up about 20% on dividends. It seems to be in a holding pattern lately and I would appreciate your analysis and guidance on the future of GMP under its new look. Buy,sell or hold
Thanx Gary

Q: Hi,
What are your thoughts on GMP capital? My average cost was $2.80 and the price has declined a fair bit. I was thinking there may be some tax loss selling right now, but was thinking of holding. Is this a bad plan or time to buy more?

Q: I own preferred shares of GMP Capital. There is a transaction going on with GMP and Stifel Financial. What will be left of GMP? Would it be a suitable candidate for merger/takover? Thanks.
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
GMP is selling and buying assets. How beneficial is this for shareholders? Your thoughts pleases. Thanks for your assistance.

Q: Hello Peter,
What are your thoughts on GMP Capital? I have lost more than 50% on the stock since I bought it. The company does seem to be doing fine as it gives out special dividends and with recent takeovers of other related companies, I thought GMP would gain traction but it has not moved up much. Yangarra resources has lost lots of its value but mostly due to the sector issues. A few questions please:
i. Understanding that both companies are in different sectors, do you think Yangarra has higher chance of increasing in stock price then GMP
ii. Given our current policies on energy and pipelines, do you see the oil sector recovering anytime soon as i was thinking of putting monies in other companies like Tourmanline etc
thanks very much

Q: I am retired and own GMP Capital preferred series B in a non-registered account for income. How safe do you think the dividend is? I was encouraged when they recently re-instated the dividend on the common shares, suggesting management confidence in ongoing profitability, yet the pref B price continues to trend lower. Why?
Q: Are there any issues with purchasing a company just to capture the special dividend then selling it afterwards. GMP released good results and I would expect that holding it for just a short time is a low risk to my capital. I prefer to be in much larger dividend payers however the special dividend is compelling.
