Q: This is a bit of a crystal ball question: Given the recent interest in the gold sector, which companies do you think could be possible take-over candidates?
Thanks

Q: What's up with Dynacor?
The company has good mining operations in a relatively safe jurisdiction (Peru), recent results have been good, balance sheet is strong, nice dividend, solid growth expectations ... why isn't the stock moving up with the price of gold?
Are there any operational or management issues that you're aware of?
Thanks, Rick

Q: Hi Peter,
My new strategy this yr is to buy growth stocks that have done public offerings to finance future growth in 2025/26. Can you think of any other names to add to this list?

Q: I am a bit confused why a company with about 25% of its current market cap (40+ million USD cash as per last quarter report) sitting in cash on the balance sheet - with no debt - would raise 10% more equity (just 20 million cad) at a 10% discount to its current price which is already quite cheap… I am scratching my head… I really like this stock/company but now I am questioning management haha. Am I wrong? Thanks

Q: Which of these three gold stocks would you go with, one of the 2 juniors (DNG or BTO) with the higher divys and potential capital growth or the larger more established AEM for its size and stability, or a blend of both?

Gold seems to be on an up trajectory so stocks should follow bullion!!

Thnx
Dave

Q: Can I ask you to do a “mental screen” for a few mid-cap Cdn companies that pay over a 3% dividend while having the potential for above average growth in the medium to longer term? Please omit SIS, PBH, EIF and NWC (already owned) and leave out anything in the energy sector. I’m assuming not much in the small cap space would meet the div. criteria and not much in the large cap space meets the growth criteria, but if you think anything there is compelling please include as well. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i,
Thanks for the great work. I’m looking at the precious metal component of my portfolio for tax loss selling opportunities. Can I please ask you opinion on these 5x companies?
