Q: Hello 5i: Thank you for holding our hands during this difficult time, it is much appreciated. I ask about the Mawer funds, in particular 104, 150, 102. I hold these funds in a RRIF and as all above purchase price I ask if you would keep these funds or are there vehicles that have more potential upside? Thank you Barb

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan
I am in the dog house on listed stocks in my registered accounts (RRSP/TFSA/RESP). For TOY and TSGI , I will wait for your review in Q&A section. As part of cleaning up portfolio would you keep these or if not then replace with which stocks? Money requirement and risk is not an issue.

Value your opinion. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter & Team,
Would this be a good portfolio of Mawer Funds for a time frame of at least 15 years, or is there something I am missing or could be improved upon.
Thanks for your input

Q: Hi 5i, I am looking for a relatively safe environment in view of future interest rate increases. Please rate the above list, also can you tell me if there are any withdrawing charges in the Mawers. Perhaps suggesting other ones you prefer. I am 85 year young and like to have safety with some income. Like the new changes, many thanks for your help. J.A.P, Burlington

Q: Hi there, I am looking at add some global small cap growth exposure to my portfolio. I know the Mawer fund is highly regarded. Is there another ETF besides PZW that would be similar to MAW150? In addition, how would you recommend playing the global small cap space - MAW150, PZW or a suggested alternative? Thank you!

Q: I have decided to look outside of Canada for small cap exposure. I am interested in either a mutual fund or ETF in a non emerging market economy. Currently own Russell 2000. What other recommendations would you have for both USA and elsewhere. Can be either Canadian or U.S dollars.

Thanks

Q: Hello 5i
Have allowed MAW150 to become a heavy weighting in Portfolio.
Are you able to comment on potential sources for its lack of performance through 2016? I am a little surprised to be down on the year.
A recent article on MAWER indicated they have likely run out of good investment ideas and their previous choices have run out of juice.(Top award winners in Mutual Funds regressing to moderate performance)

Would you just let them do what they are paid to do (MER= 1.74%) or would you choose to reduce (MAW150: 74% International allocation-Oct 31) by shifting capital to US oriented ETF - XMC?

Portfolio Geographic allocation for International vs USA are about equal currently.

If something else comes to mind as you consider this questions please feel free to add.

Thanks
Dave
