Q: Hi 5 guys. Trican Well services had a more than 10 per cent gain on Friday but I can't find any specific news on the big move. Anything on your radar? I am back nicely in the green on TCW, should I sell or is it a worthwhile hold or buy in your opinion?

Please list the stocks in order from the first to be sold to the sixth. This is for medium risk profile. Also could you list a short reason why you think it should go for each of the six stocks.

Q: Given the current circumstances, would you, in an otherwise staid pipeline, bank, insurance company and MAW104-dominated portfolio put up to 5% in one of/a combination of these 3 stocks? How would you rank them, if so?
Q: Hi team,
With the price of oil near 70$ ,would this be a good entry point to purchase this stock or is it fully valued?
Thank you,
Jean

Q: What are your thoughts our TCW's year end numbers? Management looks to increase contract prices in the second half of 2021,therefore returning more to their bottom line and they have no bank debt.Is now a good time to add this name with a time horizon of 24 months?
Many thanks,
Jean

Q: Looking to add a speculative position to my portfolio and been researching Trican. After going through its November presentation its evident things have been tough with a lot of their fleet parked. However, it is showing good momentum and want to know your thoughts. thanks.
Q: I have an old small position in Precision Drilling, which I can sell for a tax loss. I have been suffering with this small position so long, now, that I wouldn't like to sell it just when it pops! Any idea what I can watch as indicators regarding where the stock might go in the period of a month? And what would be a suitable placeholder substitute, which might have the same ability to bounce as PD under favourable circumstances?
thanks
thanks
Q: I have positions in both and would like to consolidate into one. Your choice here would be?
Q: hello

Q: What is the outlook for above noted companies in terms of :
1. Balance sheet. Which companies can survive this down turn in the oil patch? ie not go bankrupt. Please add comments and list companies in order.
2. Which companies are hedged and how long do their hedges go and at what prices are they hedged at?
3. Would you currently take a position on any of these companies?
4. Any other helpful comments are appreciated.

Q: I'm considering a contrarian play on an o&g service company. I understand it may take a number of years but at these prices the right company could be a multi bagger when the sector turns from these very low share prices. A strong balance sheet is key to be able to last however long it takes. I see MCR, TCW, and ESN fitting the bill here, but which one would you invest in? MCR has actually done quite well in the downturn and is up considerably. TCW and ESN are more similarly aligned and have both been beaten up. I'd imagine TCW and ESN would have much more torque than MCR in a recovery, so more value there. Clarke has been a big buyer of TCW at these levels, but MCR has large insider ownership. Which one do you feel is the best choice and why?
Q: I realize that these guys are in a very difficult position, but, could you give me your thoughts on their 1/4, and do you think they are having to burn the furniture to keep warm?
Q: Obviously a hurting sector but what do you make of recent insider buying?
Q: What do you think of buying TCW under one dollar as type of call option on the unloved Canadian energy sector? What is the likelihood of TCW shares going to zero in the next 24 months?
Still waiting for clarification on BRE payout ratio as well.

Q: You have stated previously that TCW has done a decent job getting their balance sheet in order as well as buying back shares. What do you think about Trican now, at under/around $1. 00 a share? This looks undervalued albeit in a terrible sector at the moment.
Q: I have owned this for some time and at a loss is there any point in holding on or just move on out of the oil sector?
