Q: I also like LULU for the longer term growth potential and the fact they seem to executing well on their plan to get to $12B in revenue by 2026. I'm optimistic about the Chinese growth opportunity, but I did see an interesting WSJ video this week in which they reported that young Chinese have less reverence for Western brands than previous generations. Sharing a bear case perspective for others to consider in their analysis: https://youtu.be/hHOSEFRtaNc?si=biHglaJfBs0yuJ_c

Q: Hello Team,

Looking at starting a new position in a few of the 12 companies tagged. Can you rank from 1 to 12 on which companies you think is the best to start a new position in. No worries on size, industry or risk, looking for capital appreciation only over the next 3 years.

Thanks again!

Q: Good morning 5i, I've held CCL.B for a few years and until the positive results in the 1st Q this year giving it a bump it has been a slow grower. I'm considering moving on to something with more momentum. Two questions: What are your thoughts on CCL.B for the next 3-5 years?, and if it were to be sold, what are your top picks in the consumer cyclical sector, Cdn or U.S. for growth and ideally a small dividend? I already have ATD and BYD.
Thank you

Q: There are some really beaten down stocks that have been known as "blue chip" investments over the years. Which of these stocks do you feel represent the best opportunity in order of priority buy.

Q: Many Consumer brands are under pressure but will turn around at some point soon. Any guess as to how far out? What to watch for? Could you rank and add thoughts behind your best overall pick to accumulate... Is there another company you would also consider at this time?

thx, M

Q: What are your top picks right now? Would you include recent laggards such as lulu, hps, doo or Pbh among them?

Q: My industrial portfolio currently has a light exposure to the industrial sector. I’d like to diversify by adding some industrial stocks in the US and Canada. Additionally, in the consumer sector, I already hold ATD, TOY, PBH, ULTA, and COST. To further enhance my consumer holdings, could you recommend several consumer stocks in the US and one or two in Canada? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Q: I am looking to add BKNG to my Consumer Cyclicals. Currently I have a ATZ, LULU, MG, LNF, DOO, and CROX.

Long term growth investor.

Would you suggest trimming across the board or are there any names you would swap if one wanted to high grade their portfolio.

Q: I did really well buying oil stocks when oil tanked 4 years ago, and holding during the recovery. What beaten up sector do you feel has great recovery potential like this currently? Would REIT's qualify since rate cuts appear to be coming soon, or are you not as confident in the recovery due to vacancy's & recession possibility? Thx

Q: Can you comment on SBUX earnings/outlook? It's getting hammered today - is it worth a look for a patient investor with a long-term (5 years+) horizon? Or are there other consumer discretionary options worth buying at current levels that will provide a greater total return over this timeframe?

Q: I have some USD cash sitting in my RRSP. What would be your most compelling buys today for an agressive investor for an RRSP, irregardless of sector. Kindly rank if possible. (with the caveat that tax loss selling isn’t possible)

I was considering FCX or EXP as I am light on materials. Would either of these fit in an RRSP, and which of these two would be your preference at this time?

Thank you
Please deduct as you deem fit.

Q: If you could only buy one of these companies for long term growth which would you make the case for? Obviously AMZN is an order of magnitude larger. They are both slotted into the consumer discretionary sector, but how closely do you see them tracking to the factors that would move that sector? Do you foresee AMZN initiating a dividend one day? Does any other U.S. name stand out to you that you vastly prefer? Thanks for your thoughts.

Q: This stock is up 3.1% YTD and 17.6% 1 Year.

Not a bad performance but certainly underperfoming the general market.

There are a lot of excellent companies on New York and Nasdaq that have a much steeper growth profile than QSR.

If you were to look at the universe of their consumer segment of the market which US company do you feel would have the highest growth potential over the next 3 years. (Other than SBUX)

With thanks

Sheldon
