Q: I presently own REF in my RRSP (4%) - with the aquisition by CHP would it be advisable to keep the merged position or sell and replace. If I replace - what REIT looks good at the moment? I also have a position in AX (2.5%). Should I sell before the close or wait for another competing offer? If I don't by a replacement REIT what looks good in it's place?

Thank You

Q: I currently own small positions in CRT & CHP which seem to be lying fairly dormant. To get a bit more momentum, I am considering switching these to REI . Is this a good strategy. My thinking is that mall owners may be switching to condo development as online shopping increases.

Many thanks, as always.

Q: Following your comments about retail REITs a few days ago, I reviewed my REIT holdings and my only retail REIT is CHP.UN. Their properties are almost exclusively Loblaws-branded grocery stores, with a small mix of other retailers. My view in buying this a few years ago is that people have to eat, but at that time there was really no alternative like the recent Amazon move. What is your view of CHP.UN in general, and would you continue to hold it for income.

Thank-you

Q: Hi 5i, I have been slowly adding to my portfolio. So far it is all held in a TFSA with long term in mind. The listed companies are the current holdings (I don't know weighted percents off hand). Can you please recommend maybe 2-3 other companies or funds that would help to round out my portfolio? I plan to make regular contributions for the long term. All available DRIP's are being utilized as well to further growth. Do you see any current major issues with the current holdings?

Thanks 5i! Keep up the great work, you're much appreciated!
