Q: I currently own Slate Office Reit which has not been performing very well and was thinking of selling it and buying Summit industrial income Reit. I am interested in yield and growth and would appreciate your comments on this switch. Also I would appreciate your reasons for your suggestions. Thank you for all you do. Ian

Q: Hi All at 5i! I have held SOT for several years...it pays a good ( hopefully sustainable) dividend, but its price has meandered down over the years. It being a REIT ( mall rental) I don’t except miracle growth ...but maybe a little. What are your thoughts on it. Are there better Reits to switch to.? Cheers, Tamara
Q: Hi can you comment on SOT.UN's results today? Still worth holding with the dividend cut?
Q: I have a question about SOT.UN. Slate Office. There is unusual strength and volume today but I do not see any news. Do you see any news? Slate is up 5.5%. Thank you.
Q: The recent Quarter for Slate is out and the unit price is strong. Can you comment on the Quarter and Slate in general? Thank you.
Q: Hi,
What's your take on this REIT. The almost 10% dividend yield sure looks attractive. Is the cash-flow sustainable?
Thank you.

Q: Because I cannot contribute new funds to my LIRA, I have a number of high-yield stocks to generate income that can be reinvested in growth. Full position in PDC for diversification and smoothing effect, half position in everything else. How safe are these utility and REITs dividends with 7-9.5 % yields? Alternative suggestions for 10 year plus strategy? (Please deduct as many credits as required)
Q: Thoughts of their purchase of office buildings announced after the close yesterday?
Q: Could you compare TNT.UN and Sot.un going forward ?
Q: What do you think of this company for income and growth. How does the last company they acquired look.
Q: what do you think of this reit for income and growth.what do you think of their latest acusition.
Q: Your thoughts on the acquisition of the Cominar properties? Quite substantial relative to Slate's current size - will almost double its assets. I have a small position for income.

Q: Hi,
I'll be managing my spouse's account in the next month or so. One of the reasons we'll be managing it ourselves it is that our current manager does not take a balanced approach to portfolios, thus she has about a 25% weighting in REITs. Below are the REITs she holds, can you prioritize them in terms of what to hold or sell? Each of the below is between 2 and 4% of our portfolio value and we don't need the income.
Northwest Healthcare
BTB REIT
Extendicare
Dream Office
Northview Apt
Slate Office REIT
One REIT (which is being bought out I understand)
Thx.

Q: They just announced some new property acquisitions in Toronto and Fredericton. The bought deal for new units would appear dilutive at first glance, yet they say the transaction is immediately accretive. Your comment?
Q: What is your current thinking on Slate ? Do you think that the dividend is sustainable?
Thanks,
Philip
Thanks,
Philip
Q: Read an article today about Slate Office Reit. Great dividend and the article suggested technical analysis was looking good. What do you think about the fundamentals of this stock?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: With FTS exiting SOT.UN at such a substantial discount rate, is it a good opportunity for us small retails to do an average down? I'm currently down about 10%, but if the company is operationally sound, it may be the chance to add more. Your advice?
Q: Any reason for the big drop today?
