Q: Hello 5i
1) On Nov. 28, 2018 your answer to Charlie regarding CGX was, "a stock that can decline 29% in a year is likely not right for a retiree". As a retiree myself , and down 30% plus on WCP, DOL and KWH.UN, would your answer be the same? Also, would you sell them now, and could you suggest replacements?
2) Including the market we are presently in, is there a percentage decline in price that you would suggest a retiree to cut losses and sell? Thank you for your help. Happy Holidays to Everyone at 5i, Bill

Q: I'm 75 and sort of religiously line-up my rrsp based on your income model portfolio, granted i dont expect always 2017 performance and i'm ready to surf the wave but in few case a Tsunami hit few holdings at this point i wonder if GS and FSZ will ever recover or end up like KWH . Mandatory disbursement (wich you are not responsible)and losses could seriously jeopardize my capacity to keep the divi/income in line.
Thank You
Daniel

Q: I'm one of those investors that has trouble selling things at a loss. I'll get over it some time...maybe? However, with Crius you answered a question yesterday that even with a 50% cut in the dividend it's still at 8% +/-. Can you comment further. I'd be happy with an 8% dividend and would be prepared for a long term hold until the company 'comes around' with their divesting of the solar side. What am I not seeing?
Thanks...Graham

Q: You have mentioned your concern about KWh's payout ratio tightening. The only figure I have been able to find is 64% which to me didn't seem to be too bad but perhaps I don't have the right number. Could you please state what you believe the ration is currently and what you think is an acceptable ratio for this company. Also, your expectations over the next year and what you think might trigger any payout reduction.
Many thanks as always.

Q: Can a case for Crius be made based on a thesis of increased demand and prices for North-American based energy, driven by high growth of the overall US economy? New steel mills (announced this week) and manufacturing in general consume large amounts of energy. Is it reasonable to assume that if prices of gas/electricity start to rise, that fixed priced supply contracts would become more popular?
