Q: Could I please have your thoughts on this corporation. The share price has fallen a lot this year but looks as if it might be recovering. RBC suggests ATP is reducing debt and buying back common shares.

Q: I have held this former income stock in my RSP for many years waiting for a recovery. Seems they have made minor progress in debt reduction. I am 15% underwater since inception.
Time to dump this apparently dead money?

Q: Looking for your thoughts on this stock which has really done little over the past few years. Do you think they have a chance to turn things around?

- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP.UN)

Q: How many utilities are enough and where? I have AQN in TFSA and , BEP, BIP, FTS in cash account (along with BAM.A and BBU.UN - total Brookfield is 8.91%). My spreadsheet indicates I have 3% space left in utilities sector to add but your PA says I am over. Sold all of H (was largest utility holding) due to political risk of current chaotic provincial government. Looking at a replacement for H. Don't really need the income for living , looking more for safety and some growth. Looking for your view on how you would rank above prospects or should I add to existing, or stand pat?
Q: Do you see any upside for this company within the next 12 months?

Q: Recently, insiders including the CEO and CFO, have been big buyers of this beaten-down stock. Time for a second look?
- Aimia Inc. (AIM)
- Atlantic Power Corporation (ATP)
- Dundee Corporation Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (DC.A)
Q: I own three reset preferreds that were purchased at the issue price. All are underwater by large amounts. AIM.PR.C is trading at $17.52 yielding 8.8%, AZP.PR.B is trading at $19.20 yielding 7.2%, and DC. PR. B is trading at $16.20 yielding 8.8%. With the dividend tax credit the yield averages is well over 10%. How financial stable are those three companies? Are the yields adequate for the risk being taken? Are those shares sells or holds for income?
Q: I've recently sold my shares @ $3.58) and have watched it sink pretty much every day since. It continues to struggle to generate any earnings but does have valuable assets. Can you give any insight as to the value of the assets and at what price you might be tempted? What do you think the odds are of ATP being bought?
Thanks
Peter

Q: Hello, can you comment on 3rd quarter results?
Seem somewhat less negative than the last recent quarters.

Q: Hello
Can you comment on earnings for both ATP and TA.
Cash flow seems to be improving and both are working on improving leverage levels.
I have a small position in both these companies that I intend on selling to buy more quality names. But I am not in a hurry to sell them since I am down 30% and 40% respectively and would like to let them run a bit if they show signs of improving.
Thank you !

Q: I have unfortunately owned these pref shares since first issued as EPP.PR.B. They then became CZP.PR.B and are now as noted and related to Atlantic Power. I don't really understand the corporate relationship. However they are a fixed reset and were reset in 2014 and now yield about 10% on their current price of $13.85 or about 5.6% on their issued price of $25.
Please provide your thoughts on this security. Is it worth a continued hold? Do you ever see the market price ever approaching the issue price? Do you consider the pref share dividend to be sustainable? They are unfortunately held in a registered account so no capital loss if sold.
Thanks

Q: My investment in ATP convertable debentures will be called in May. Would you invest the proceeds in either ATP DB.U or DB.D?
