Q: Hi,
I've already have a position in SIS, CSU, TOY, GSY and KXS in my TFSA.
Between GC, AW-UN, PBH, MX, GIL or any other compagnie for long term (10+ years) with growth potential, which one will you add next ?

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan and Team,

There are two questions in my query today. Please charge me the appropriate number of credits.

I am looking to open a new long-term position in my TFSA. Can you rank the following stocks. LSPD, DSG, TOY

In my RRSP, I want to get some US exposure. Can you recommend a stock or ETF that is for a long-term hold.

Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i team,
We have some cash in our grandsons RESP. He is 6 yrs old. Having read your update today, we were wondering if People Corp would be a good fit as a new holding?
Thank you as always for your opinion

Q: With the world feeling a little uneasy about a pending recession, I want to keep only holdings that will weather a downturn. I'm not trying to time the market, and want to hold stocks, that while they may dip, have good balance sheets, good management, and will likely see a recovery. Others I will sell and hold the cash. Above are my current holdings. Do you see any that may be susceptible to excessive weakness in a recession and would therefore meet my sell criterion? Thanks,
Kim

Q: You had recommend these stocks back in March when I had asked for some growth names for 2-3 year old. Unfortunately I did not pull the trigger and Both stocks have run up a fair bit. Is this still a good entry point or perhaps wait for a general market correction for go easy and BOYD. Also thoughts on Spinmaster to initiate a position. Thx

Q: I hold the above in my TFSA. I treat my TFSA as part of a total portfolio so although each is about 20% of my TFSA, my overall weight for each is 3% in my total portfolio. Needless to say my TFSA has not performed well this year. Each of these companies (Except for ZQQ) seems to have lost significant value this past year. 5i seems to still like these names but I am starting to think that they are going the same path as some previous darlings of 5i. So my question is: with a 5 year outlook, should I continue to be patient or sell any of these and move on.
By the way, I did ask a question last week and voiced my opinion on some comments....never got a reply??

Q: Hi, Could you please put together a few reasons why the stock has pulled back from recent $45 level and now gravitating back towards 52 week lows of $35 - $37. In all your comments, you have all the positives to say about the company and suggested that Toys r'us bankruptcy issues are temporary and amazon being no threat to the company. However, market does not appear to think so. Someone on the BNN also mentioned that Hatchimals are also not selling well. During past 2 years, stock has been lagging from a high of $59 to a low of $35. Expectations of future growth and patience has not exactly helped and some of 5i favorites like, TSGI,TCL.a,SIS continue to test new lows. The point is, captital is not infinite and tough decisions to sell, without waiting too long may provide an opportunity to reallocate capital to 5i names with more clarity and positive momentum. This strategy helped when we liquidated full position in TSGI and 65% each in TCL.a and SIS, over time and used funds for LSPD, RPI.un etc. Does this sound like a fair approach ? With this perspective, is it worthwhile to hold on to TOY while market is saying otherwise ? Thanks

Q: I have a full position in TOY and am starting to lose patience as I’m now down 24% in a year and don’t really see any positive momentum building given trade tensions and indications of an economic slowdown. I’m considering selling half or all to move into a more positive growth story as things stand today. As an example, I recently sold a half position in SIS and bought LSPD with very positive results. I would possibly buy more LSPD with the understanding growth=risk. Security and diversity are covered in other parts of our portfolio; these growthy stocks are in our TFSAs where growth is our only consideration. Given the objectives of our TFSA accounts can you make a case for keeping, selling half or all of TOY at this time.
