Q: Results opinion
Q: What price would be a good support level for KL? Would you buy before earnings or afterward ? Many thanks
Q: Hi there,
I already own a position in KL and was looking to either split the position and put the other half in a small cap gold. Which would you recommend? I was thinking ASR or WDO - or is there a better option than these 2 names?
Thank you!

Q: Could you comment about their quarterly results. Surprised to see the pullback today.
Q: I am looking at Gold mining companies and royalty companies. My preference is low to no debt with good management. My preferred choices right now are KL, LUN, WPM, and FNV, all of which are priced high right now. I own mostly NGT, but I'm not sure about them. I'm having a hard time selling NGT, priced 'OK,' to buy higher priced companies. My question is:
What are your preferred gold companies with no/low debt and good management?
Is NGT a slow but safer company, or should I move on to the others?

Q: I am pretty heavily weighted in KL and after watching BNN today I am thinking of taking a profit. Just wondering where you see GOLD short term and KL long. Thanks
- Franco-Nevada Corporation (FNV)
- Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (AEM)
- Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (KL)
- Newmont Corporation (NGT)
Q: I am going to add Gold to my portfolio and am looking for your advice. I really like the Franco-Nevada model being that they have royalties and do not own mines, but it seems quite expensive? Thoughts on evaluations etc ? Depending on your thoughts I would like to add FNV and an actual gold miner. The ones I have listed have a larger market cap as I am not interested in too small of gold miners.
With all the things going on in the world right now, how concerned are you of a recession in the US that will drag Canada into it? The flags I am concerned about right now are: 10yr bull market, US balance sheet issues, repos, inverted yield curve, Fed policy (decreasing interest rates), trade war, global slowing. A lot of other countries hold US paper........ It makes you wonder how much more debt the US can endure and maintain a strong dollar.
We all know that there is going to be a correction at some point in the future....but something to me feels different about what is coming. Maybe I am just a paranoid investor...I have to quit watching the prepper shows!
Besides gold what is the best way to protect ourselves in the event that the US has a financial crisis that affects their dollar?

Q: I own KL and have made a very good profit on it and hate to sell at this point. However I do have an ETF I'm not happy with and thinking of selling. Would you suggest taking profit to buy one of the other golds and if so which one or using money from my ETF?
Q: I no longer have any materials stocks since I have sold WEF, what other materials stock(s) would you recommend at this time to replace WEF?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I need to increase my materials exposure by 2%.
I was thinking of starting positions of 1% each in MX and KL in a taxable account.
Your thoughts on these two or other suggestions instead.
Thanks
Jeff

Q: Is it too late to take a position in Gold? If it is not too late, could I please have your recommendations for Gold stocks on the TSX. Thanks
Q: Hi 5i Team,
With negative rates piling up globally, even talk of negative US rates. Would it be prudent to hold a bit more gold? Say, AEM, KL?
Thanks
Henry

Q: I am thinking of putting some money in gold and would like to get your thoughts on if I should put the money in gold etfs or stocks in gold producers. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Also would you please recommend some names in both gold etfs and gold producers.
Cheers,

Q: Kirkland Lake now down 9% on the day. Were earnings that horrible? What is the growth outlook going forward?
Q: How did the Q look?
Q: Any significance to today's press release?
Q: Hi - Would you consider the gold trade to be "crowded" at this point? I own KL and am wondering if everyone is at the same "party". What are your thoughts and thanks in advance.
