Q: Hi,

At what price should one start a position in KL? Under $50?
It has lost about $4 this week since the approved DG takeover announcement.
From prior Q&A, this is one of your top gold picks.
When do you anticipate that KL's management teams will be able to improve performance at DG and that it will start to be reflective in the SP? 6-9 months seem right?

Cheers,
Steve

Q: Hi there, I currently have a full position in KL and have been extremely happy with your recommendation! I'm looking to add a few smaller names that might have potential to be the next KL. What are your top 5 names in ranking order from best to last, with potential that I could use to build a good basket of smaller cap gold names than KL? Thank you!

Q: Hello 5i, notwithstanding the tragedy of the coronavirus, I would like to start taking full positions in 2-3 stocks that could benefit from a recovery. What are your thoughts on the DSG, OTEX, MSFT, KL? any other suggestions? Also, when is it a good time to start accumulating?
Thanks
Carlo

Q: I currently a small amount of GDX and GLD. I would like to increase my gold holdings a bit. Is there a stock you recommend? I am wondering about ABX or GOLD, if you like those, and is GOLD better than the CAD ABX? Or do you prefer another gold stock?
Also, is this a good time to buy silver? If so, would you recommend a stock or an ETF, CAD or US? Thank you.

Q: Hi there, I'm looking to add a smaller gold company to accompany my holding in KL. How would you rank the 4, from best to worst overall? Is there a better name than the 4 I have suggested? Thank you!

Q: Hi there, I recently read an article in FP regarding Eric Sprott's induction into Canada’s Investment Industry Hall of Fame. He states:

“I still have a lot of money in Kirkland and it’s a great company, but it’s not a tenbagger from here,” he said. “And I like tenbaggers as opposed to 100 per cent. It’s just my nature.”

Based on a 5i recommendation, I purchased KL around $8ish several years ago. I know you still like the name, but if one was interested in a name that has good potential to be another multi bagger as per Eric's quote, what would be a couple good promising names? My thought would be to split up my gold position into 3% KL and 3% into a new name, or 2% across three positions. Thoughts?

Thank you!

Q: Good morning team,

Given the recent news from Kirkland Lake, how would you rank your top 3 favourite gold producers?

If Gold itself was to break out again to new highs in the near future, do you think this acquisition will hold back the shares of KL relative to its peers as digests the take over?

Finally, what are your thoughts on silvers potential?
Are their any silver producers that look attractive to you?

Thanks for your great work!

Q: I recently sold. AEM and waiting for a pul back. I was thinking of buying DGC gold just in case if there will be another offer. If no offer I would end up with KL gold or would you suggest just buy KL directly at today’s price. Can you please me your opinion and when is the deal supposed to close and if I buy 1000 shares of DGC gold how many KL shares I would get. Do you think current offer is good or they might be another offer. Is there any regularity risk.

Currently I don’t have any gold stocks

Thanks for your great service

Q: Hello, I have about 10,000 in physical gold and silver (in safety deposit box) that I’am thinking of cashing in. Would probably buy one or two material or gold stock to collect small to medium dividend .
Question is would you just keep as is or switch to stocks ? And could you suggest two or three quality stock with good management, lower debt etc. ( maybe ETF?)
Thanks
