Q: I am heavy financials at about 20%, I should probably trim the herd....All but CHW will generate a large capital gain as I have held most for a long time. I hate to sell CHW as it pays a crazy div right now at almost 8%.
I am leaning towards holding all but taking the dividends and putting into other sectors (stock from the your balance portfolio following your balanced equity portfolio) and not adding any new financials to my holding.
Can you provide a compelling argument for selling 1 or 2 of the above for the sole purpose pf rebalancing out of financial. Or is my slow but steady approach with lower tax implications a reasonable compromise knowing I will be heavy financial for several years.

Q: Good day Ryan, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the latest earnings release. Their fourth quarter and annual net income benefited from a one time recovery of 9.4 million and going forward they benefit from an estimated 3 million annual net income due to lower U.S. corporate tax rate. So if you take away the one time 9.4 mill is the 3 million enough to increase their growth going forward? Will they be able to increase their dividend or pay a special dividend? A couple questions here thanks much AEO
Q: HI, the Q4 and year end results look pretty good I think. How would you rate their results?
Thanks lots

Q: Hello 5I,
Would it be possible to get your overall thoughts on CHW at this level.
I'm curious to know is CHW in the same space/industry as GSY & would management be better off to allocate its monthly dividends towards growth like GSY?
Thank you. Kenneth.

Q: What is going on with this company......?
Q: CHW is hitting 52 week lows. I hold a small position for income purposes. Add, hold or sell?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
Would you consider Chesswood group a long term hold as the stock hardly moves and if it does, it is to the downside. It does have a nice dividend but given its performance, it is not a good enough reason to keep it. Your thoughts please. Also, i am thinking of increasing my weight to 5 percent for Savaria or Constellation software. I am leaning towards Savaria (growing sector, decent dividend, good momentum), but your thoughts please. Thanks very much.

Q: Hello,
I have some cash in my TFSA, and I am interested in buying a stock with good growth in capital and dividend appreciation. I am a long term investor.
Currently in my TFSA, I have FAP, CHW, NEPT, PHO, SIS and S.
I am looking at TWM, Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure.
What do you think of TWM? Or do you have a better recommendation?
Thank you very much.
Marc

Q: CHW is considered a Hold by analyst yet as announced; " Chesswood Announces Renewal Of Bank Credit Facility And Upcoming Early Redemption Of Convertible Debentures", which seems to me to be a sign of overall strength in the company. Can I have your thoughts please.
Q: Chesswood has announced that they will redeem all $20 million of its outstanding 6.5% convertible debentures in January 2018, well ahead of their maturity date of December 31, 2018
Can you explain 1) what is a convertible debenture? And 2) how material is it when these are redeemed ahead of their maturity date?
Thanks
John

Q: Please comment on Chesswood Group quarterly results. Do you like this security for both income and growth for a 3 year hold?
Q: Chesswood Group seems to be on track for more growth this quarter, do you agree? Is their dividend safe at these levels? Why is there such low trading volume in the stock, is it because the institution holders don't want to sell. Looks like a good entry point to me, thanks.
Q: Hi Ryan, does the recent agreement with an American finance firm have much of a positive spin for Chesswood? Thanks much, AEO
Q: For long term income and some potential growth do you have a preference between Chesswood or Chartwell?
Q: What is 5i's opinion on Chesswood Group, earlier last week market call had it as a top pick; a great dividend. Does it have capital appreciation potential. Great Service....Wayne
