Q: Hello,
Just wondering what you think about Slyce's latest announcement... Does having insiders contribute show confidence or is this more of a desperate act?
Thanks

Q: Hi
Just wondering your latest thoughts on slyce. They've announced some deals lately but seem to have cash flow issues. Still waiting to see if there will be any uptake on short form prospectus which is overdue. Im in at 17 cents But wondering if I should hold or get out and into something like DBO? Thanks so much.

Q: Would you ascribe the significant recent weakness in SCL primarily to company fundamentals or to tax-loss selling? In other words, would this be a good entry point for a speculative position?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Hi there,
I have read that Slyce may be a few quarters or a few big announcements away from doing anything positive but am still surprised at the huge drop today after holding on for a long time in the mid .40's. Any news here or do you think it was just someone deciding to exit a large position that drove it down?

Q: I would be interested in your take on SLC in light of their recently announced results.

Q: Hello Team,
What do you think of Slyce's recent deals & Q1 results? Intriguing enough to take a small position?
Thanks!

Q: What do you think of the news of a contract signed today? Do you think this will ignite revenue? With the launch projected in Q2 of 2015, is it a good time to buy? (I'm thinking 1% of my portfolio)
Q: It's understandable that Bloomberg (or 5i) can't spend excessive resources in ferreting out all the nuances of insider holdings. In the case of Slyce, further digging reveals that Business Instincts Group (5.4m shares) actually include the equity holdings of co-founders and current board members Cameron Chell and Erika Racicot. Also, BBG Equity Management (John Gabriel) and their 1.7m shares has been in the picture since 2008 so the only true 'outside insider' would be Salida Capital's holdings. I therefore suggest that true insider interest is closer to 14.3m shares, or 13.4% of total issued.
Q: As far as I can determine, Slyce (V.SLC) is the only visual search pure play in which one can invest. As a public company it can raise funds to develop further and really extend its lead on the competition and become the 'go to' player in that industry niche.
Looking thru SEDI and recent news releases, I calculate the holdings of management, officers and directors at 7.2m shares - this includes the shares given to owners of the two recent acquisitions, BuyCode and Drivetrain. There are also three entities deemed insiders which own a total of 11.2m shares - i.e. BIG, BBG and Salida.
This brings total insider holdings to 18.4m shares out of 106.2 issued, or 17.2%
