Q: I currently have the above in various portfolios. I would like to add an ETF or 2 for the US market in that deals in (CAD) funds. Can you provide a few for ETF's that would complement my current holdings . Thanks David .

Q: My healthcare sector is very low. I will buying for within my TFSA account and wonder if the ETF XHC would be good ? I can also buy 3 US healthcare companies as I would have enough funds to do so. What would be the best 3 US healthcare companies you would buy if this is preferred over the EFT?

Thanks

Q: I currently own XHC.

I see that VHT has a lot lower MER. Does it make sense to make a switch?
I assume VHT is more North America while XHC is global?

Also have about 4% in ABBV in an Registered Account with a 52% return. (thank your;)
Would it make sense to cut this down to 2% and add LLY?

LLY has had quite a run the last couple of years and that can be scary. Does LLY have a good runway?

Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i, we need to increase our Healthcare allocation.

Currently hold XLV in our non-reg account, and are satisfied with it.

We need to use CA$ funds in our RIF's to increase, and are looking
at HHL, XHC, and LIFE (little unsure with LIFE as their website has faulty info).

We are looking for income plus some growth.

Could you provide some analysis of these 3 options,
and any other suggestions that you might see.

Thanks as always for your assistance. T.

Q: I currently hold XHC to give me some global health care exposure. It is ~ a whole position for me and is currently down 4.5%. My other Healthcare stocks are Well and Abbvie.
Do you have some other healthcare names that are solid but growing. With or without dividend.

Outside of Canada to get USA or World exposure.

Or would you stick with XHC?

Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

If already owning XHC, would the ETF TDOC serve as a complementary holding, since we're a bit low in the Health Care sector? I like its low (.35%) MER and the 2% cap on any one company, but is its AUM too low to consider? Are there any other Canadian listed ETFs that would be suitable?

Thanks for your insight.

Q: My question is regarding selling my XHC and purchasing XLV in my RSP. I have 414 shares of XHC and understand the cost of currency change .I have initiated a position in XLV by selling VIG when it moves beyond 10% of our portfolio and started wondering whether I should consolidate to XLV. Our other healthcare stock is WELL. I would appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Q: New retiree caught with pants down. Need to sell some stuff in RIF to cover current cash needs. Horrible position to be in with current market. Lesson learnt. Maybe (tough to be on the sidelines in a bull market)
Please help with sell sequence, which I guess should be based on which of these holdings is least likely to see near term growth from here OR which is most susceptible to further declines in near future??

Please list in order starting with the holdings you think should be sold first, ending with the holdings you think should be retained longest, and advise your rationale. All will need to be liquidated by mid 2023

Your crystal ball will be better than mine.

Thanks,

Jim

Q: Two part question, deduct as many points as you like.

I'm just wondering if anyone at 5I has glanced at the 195 page(!!) short report that Spruce Point put out last week on Stryker. Anything in particular to be concerned about? I own it in my RRSP, and have been slowly adding to my position. It is the only stock that I own in the health care sector.

Also, what would be your top pick, CA or US in this sector, if I wanted to diversify my portfolio?

Thank you for all that you do.
