Q: Someone sent me a useful update on PLUG just over a year ago - I would appreciate an update - inc current prospects - as it looks as though it might be making a base etc and I wondered if they had got their financing sorted. On PTK do you know who offered them financing and if they are a credible - and supportive - player.

Q: Please comment on the current offering. The market does not seem to like it at all. thanks
Q: Peter; I’ve read thru the questions and press releases but I couldn’t find the details about any restrictions on trading the units ? Thanks.

Q: I read on Yahoo Finance that POET has voluntarily delisted from the TSX:V. I see I can get a quote on NASDAQ and the Canadian exchange, but the volume on the latter is limited. I prefer to buy it on a Canadian exchange with C$, but am I better off buying on the US exchange given the higher volume?

Q: Since the last question on PTK, it seems to go up and up. Has anything changed? Has 5is opinion changed?
They won "Best in Artificial intelligence" in the "Global Tech Awards". Does this mean anything? Looking at the judges for this organization, there does appear to be some people with some clout in there, but scrutinizing it a bit it seems to be very much marketing focused, and with 86 categories and 200 companies, not the broadest competition.
It looks like it spikes every couplefew months, followed by up to 20% retreat, and spikes again. I almost feel like swing trading this or something.
With your recent small cap likes, PNG, MDA, ZDC, and BRM, Would you please Rank them from best to worst with a solid entry price (I know you said MDA is good right now), expected growth for 2025, whether they're profitable (yes, no, or close), and a score of 1 - 10. (1 being moonshot, 10 Solid buy). IE {NVDA, profitable X%, 10} sort of thing.
All of these scores exclude the normal smallcap risks etc (i understand that MDA is considerably larger, and is primarily in here for comparison purposes)
Thanks a tonne, James

Q: Good day,
Did a huge portfolio makeover a few months ago, almost entirely with your picks (minus a few that didn't click for me) and some of my high own high conviction names. For the most part, they've all done pretty well, with the exception of the last few weeks.
1. Is the last few weeks just overall uncertainty/retraction?
2. bep and bip are down ~15%, is it worthwhile getting out and averaging down BAM or BNS?
3. ATS and CELH are down after large runups after I bought. worth buying/averaging down on one of these?
4. DCBO and NXT back to scratch after huge runs. Do you expect those levels to return? Timeline wise? NXT spun from FLEX, but Flex continues to climb
5. KXS is down 8%, and seems pretty spikey over the last 5 years. Just wait for the next one? Should this start to create more of a steadier trend upward?
6. I bought POWL, and it's basically done nothing, thoughts on the company now? alternatives?
7. I saw a youtuber vid that really loved POET for the coming months years. I was telling a friend about it yesterday because I like (and understand) the technology and what it could do. He literally bought some while we were talking yesterday morning and he's up 30%... Are the company fundamentals/contracts improving? or could it just be hype from youtubers and the like?
Almost all of these had some pretty significant periods of running since I rebalanced in Jan/Feb. I know market timing is not a solid practice, but in a lot of these growth names, at what point is that jump worth moving on from, freeing up some cash for another opportunity down the road? And how do you determine whether it's time or not?
Finally, in the event that your attitudes have changed on any of these, do you have a top 3 CAD, top 3 US new ideas over the last few months that have really turned the tide/become strong buys that I may replace/add?
Thanks for everything!

Q: Hello 5i what can you tell me about this small cap? Is their tech anything to get excited about? Is it a watch list candidate or a move on? Also trades on Nasdaq under POET
Thanks
Thanks
Q: your view on ptk please and how they might
fit in to the chip craze if at all.

Q: Fell about $1.40 on Thursday ----Do you know the reason for that?

Q: What is your current view on this small company? I realize its small size and the current market conditions will limit investor interest but wonder if some of the recent news and fundamentals provides any encouragement for a better future (3+ years) stock appreciation? Also given its volatility could you comment on if this is better held in a TFSA or regular account where losses, if any could be utilized?
Q: I purchased this speculative stock in Mar'22, thinking it had bottomed. Wrong again-I'm down 32%. I just reviewed their financials and still no sales, huge losses and only enough cash to fund 2 more quarters at the current burn rate. Is this thing going bust?
Q: did this company do a stock split today
Q: Good morning ... kindly provide your current thoughts on this company and its prospects going forward. Has it got to a point where you would consider it buyable?
Thanks, Rick

Q: Hello,
What are your current 'best ideas' in the micro to small cap space, 5 in Canada and 5 in the US for a 5 year hold that have a market cap of at or below $1 billion market cap, are founder-led, have high insider ownership and high forecasted annual revenue growth (greater than 20%/yr)? Thank you.

Q: From a Canadian account, could you provide some suggestions on how to best play the current semi conductor shortage ?
Q: what are your thoughts on POET tech today

Q: Looking through your responses on this company I do not see any reference to what appears to be POETs claim to fame - that is offers a unique integration of optical technology and existing chip production, nor any reference to a fairly long established participation, I assume in this technology. I like belt and braces; if the technology is valid and timely, which I assume it is given the focus of robotics today, and they have a moat by way of patents or other mechanisms, their prospects should be excellent, albeit absent revenues in the short term. Can you clarify these issues for me please.
Q: Hi Guys
This stock will probably go through a consolidation
do you think that this a good step forward ?
I always thought this was bad, do you have
any information or opinion going forward.
